The Glow in the Dark Space Coaster is the kind of toy that you'll want to stay up all night playing. When darkness falls this fascinating marble rollercoaster will glow green!

Step up for a challenge and build your very own rollercoaster, and then watch as the marbles ride the rollercoaster at super high speeds. Complete with drops, twist and turns and loop-the-loops, it's action-packed fun to watch the marbles navigate the coaster at blistering speeds.

The side-by-side tracks are just the right size to let the marbles zip around the rollercoaster, and once they reach the end of the track the motorised elevator will transport them to the beginning so you can quickly start the start ball rolling again. A ball will be kept rolling perpetually along the coaster thanks to the two entry and exit ramps set up in each track, so you won't have to help any marbles along once they start rolling. - A.D.

Nice toy

Fair challenge to set it up. Good fun.

Glow in the Dark!

Extremely disappointed in my recent purchase, having read the reviews before buying, I realised It would not be that simple to put together! But it is like a marathon task, with parts of the coaster still remaining in the BOX a couple of week after buying! This was purchased a s present, shouldn't have wasted my money!

glow in the dark fun

I bought this item as a secret Santa gift and it has been so popular and fun I have decided to buy one myself. Have others looking to purchase one aswell

Fiddly, but worth it.

I bought this Glow in the Dark Space Coaster for my 12 year old nephew, wanting him to gain the sense of satisfaction of constructing the toy himself, rather than the instant gratification most toys would offer (then be forgotten about!). It was obvious from the start, that adult supervision would definitely be required on this project. As I had grown up with various construction toys (knex, LEGO, Meccano etc) I thought this would be very simple. Emptying the box, you are greeted with numerous tiny black plastic pieces and the recognisable coaster track, don't get fazed as it looks a lot but is actually quite simple. The first stage of construction is to join 4 or 5 separate pieces, into 25ish 'support pieces'. Once all, the support pieces are constructed, the build looks a whole lot more manageable. The actual construction of the skeleton of the coaster is very simple and takes no more than 20 minutes, it was applying the space coaster track that things took a turn for the worse! The space coaster track is one continuous rail of luminous plastic, so the track must be constructed in one long section, top to bottom. The instructions are OK, but sometimes I felt there wasn't enough detail in the pictures provided, especially in the intricate areas such as the loop. That aside, the construction process is again, relatively simple and takes approximately 30-45mins. This is where the fun begins! Once constructed, you'll send a marble down and find it de-rails/flies off a curve/won't go round the loop. Many many hours can be spent fine tuning each section, tilting, moving and generally adjusting the supports and rails till the marble rolls smoothly. Gradually, with trial and error, you'll get the marble to complete more and more of the run. Until, that glorious moment when it does an entire run, success! No one touch it, it's perfect! In summary, an excellent gift, but be aware that patience will be required in the construction process. To get to absolute perfection took me 4 hours in total, but it was very much worth it and it managed to keep my nephew off his game console for a few hours, which is impressive.
