Very good!
It took quite a while to get it started the first time, but that could just be down to technique. It warms up really fast and gets pretty damn hot! It says in the manual that you can't 'turn it off' but from research on the internet, and experience, you can. Just take the burner off it while its still on, using oven gloves or a towel to prevent burning yourself, and save your fluid!
Zippo hand warmer
Very difficult to fill for the first time. You need to fill up with two cups, but they aren't easy either. Keeps spilling all over the place. When it does light, no real way of knowing, it did stay warm for a very long time. If lighting was easier it would be very good, but because it is difficult to know when it is alight, it cannot get top marks
Perfect gift for cold days
The Zippo Hand Warmer is perfect for cold days, I use mine a lot when the wife gives it back.
Brilliant invention
There's many hand warmers available, but they normally only last 30 minutes to 2 hours at best. A round of golf takes 4 hours approximately, so to find this Zippo Hand Warmer was great. I've only tried it once so far, and it lasted 3 and a half hours, but I didn't completely fill it. I expect this to outlast my golf, no problem.
stays warm all day
Already enjoyed the benefits of a peacock hand warmer over the last few years and decided I would treat the other hand to a warmer all of its own. Slightly difficult to get used to the little filler can and had a rather exciting few moments with the first lighting as the recommended double filling on first use created a small conflagration! Once that was sorted out, the warmer worked as it should and was still warm after 24 hours (adjust fuel accordingly). These hand warmers are great. Cannot recommend them enough. Even slim enough to slip inside a mitt if necessary. A very good price.

The Zippo Hand Warmer is a great item bought for my son. It gets very hot, so once in your pocket you can really feel the heat, and it stays that way for ages too. I did borrow it to warm the bed up for my feet, I want one!

This Zippo Hand Warmer is a great idea and it stays hot constantly until it runs out of fuel. It's half full over 6 hours and if full over 12 hrs but make sure you have lighter fluid to fill it but not all shops sell it. Well worth it if your an outside person or even for a heat pad on aches. I would recommend this 100%.

Nice and toasty !
The Zippo Hand Warmer is an excellent bit of kit and seems to last forever on a fill. The instructions suggested that I should expect 12 hours use but I get closer to 13. I think I'll just half fill it next time. The only problem I found was getting it to light the first time, I'd guess that that had something to do with the burner being new as it's been fine since. Don't expect to see flames or any visual evidence of it burning as the catalyst, although glowing red is difficult to see in the daylight. Overall, this is a great buy but make sure you know where to get lighter fuel from as most places just sell gas these days.
