iRig Mic Cast is a highly portable and compact voice recording microphone for all iOS devices and most Android devices. It's the perfect way to record crystal clear audio for podcasts, interviews, voice memos, speeches, lectures and much more. Around the same size of a large coin, the iRig Mic Cast is small enough to fit in your pocket, laptop bag or handbag to take with your wherever you go.

To setup the iRig Mic Cast, simply plug it into the 3.5mm headphone jack of your iOS device and you're ready to record. Its tight unidirectional pickup pattern minimises background noise, so it's perfect for recording a single audio source. This means the iRig Mic Cast is also great for recording important meetings and improving the recorded audio and voice quality of conference calls. Use the dual gain switch to change between up-close recordings and ones from far away.

The included tabletop stand can be used for hands-free recording on a desktop or other flat surface. Flip out the stand wherever you need it, then slot your iOS device in and press the record button.
