Arrive at Michel Roux Jr's Cookery School for tea, coffee and pastries while the experienced in-house chef talks about the content of the class. Concentrating on two vital knives - a cook's knife and a paring knife, learn how to sharpen and practise a range of essential skills. Make and bake herb and cheese scones, using chopped herbs from the class and learn how to chop a mirepoix base to take home. After the class, enjoy a light lunch in the dining room and take home an apron, a tote bag and two recipes for the mirepoix base.
