The take-away coffee cup has become an essential item for many people that live fast-paced lives or for those of us who always seem to be in a rush, but it's fast becoming an icon of unnecessary waste. 'I'm Not A Paper Cup' despite looking very much like a paper cup, isn't one. With this economically friendly item you can now drink your coffee and tea from a thermal porcelain version, complete with its heat-conserving silicone lid that is double walled for extra insulation.

Mmmm!!!!!
Got this cup delivered this morning and took it straight to work! Some of the reviews were a bit moany about this product but I thought what the hell! Just had my first coffee and it's great! The lid stays on well and does the job. Had to wash it quite a few times to get rid of the rubbery smell. Now all my work colleagues are very jealous and they want to know where I bought it! Had to tell them IWOOT of course!!!

Excellent Product
I bought this for my eco made sister, she appreciated the irony of it and it is a lovely item and not badly priced either.

I'm not a greenie but I love my not a paper cup
I was attracted to the 'I'm Not a Paper Cup' because it looked like a paper cup - ie it looked cheap (but not in a bad way) and throw - away - able. When you actually get to handle the cup you can tell it's a quality piece and does exactly what you want it to do. It works for hot and cold drinks, is easy to clean (although it's weird cleaning something other than teeth with toothpaste) - and it still fools people who think it's a paper cup. I love it and if you are a coffee addict like me you'll love it too.

great for the morning cuppa in the car
it does what it says on the tin basically. if you like a cuppa in the car every morning, then this is ideal, only downsize is it's size, it could do with being alittle bigger to match the size you get at MacDonalds or Costa.

I gave this to my husband for christmas, and i can't believe how much money we're saving weekly already. It does what it says on the tin. Now i've reduced his need to stop and buy coffee at the service stations I now need to address the toileting issue!! Have you got anything for that!!?

I'm Not A Paper Cup
I saw this product and had to buy it! My dad is as clumsy as they come and he is always out and about in his van, car, truck and being a northerner needs a cup of tea (brew!) with him as much as possible especially on the cold winter mornings. He normally takes a normal cup and the handle always causes the issue as it wont sit properly in the drinks holder as most of them are made for cans or bottles so this is where the 'I'm not a paper cup' fits in perfectly. Not only will the landfill from paper cups not grow as much with people buying this well made product but there will also be less broken normal cups. Two benefits from one product. I love it and sure he will...christmas day will be here soon so we shall see! Broken cups shall be no longer after christmas!

Good Heat Retainer But Don't Use On The Go
I bought this cup for my Mum who is obsessed with using the 'sippy take out' cups from coffee shops and also hates cold coffee. She loved the concept of it and immediately used it for a cappuccino. The cup kept the coffee really hot but as soon as she tried to drink out of it, the liquid spilled out of the cup and down her jumper. She has tried filling it less and everything but the seal between the lip and cup doesn't seem to fit too well. In short it is a fantastic quirky present to give someone and acts brilliantly to keep the liquid warm but it leaks when you try to use it.

coffee to go @ home
this product came in perfect condition, super quick in fact! As it's part of a pressie i cant completely rate it! But it's perfect for my sis who keeps the paper ones as she thinks the home brew tastes better from them!

This cup is great but there are a couple of design faults. The lid isn't entirely leak proof and because of the white ceramic outer it picks up lots of marks, which aren't easily removed (including my lipstick!).

couldn't live without it
As a commuter I spend most of my life on buses or trains drinking from paper or meal cups which always gave the drink a strange flavour with the ceramic cup it is small easy to carry and has no effect on the drink it carries except for keeping it amazingly warm :D I use it every day and even get discounts or extra stamps on my loyalty card for using it :D

A bit disappointing
Let's start with the good. The product looks good and as always with IWOOT, it arrived really quickly too. Caused a few raised eyebrows and several smiles in the office, and our director thought it was brilliant. Unfortunately, it just doesn't live up to the hype. Despite the massive size, capacity is quite low because of the double wall and taper. Probably holds a coffe-shop 'small' despite being the height of a 'large'. The double-walled design and silicone lid are supposed to keep the drink warmer for longer and ensure the outside doesn't get hot. What actually happens is that there's a lot more mug for your drink to lose heat to, so the outside slowly becomes toasty warm, while your drink turns lukewarm. It's all because of the second law of thermodynamics, y'see. The lid only has one hole in so you get a vacuum in the cup as you sip, is a pain to clean and makes the coffee all taste a bit silicone-y. The big chunky porcelain means that it's near-impossible to judge how far away you are from needing to go back to the kettle too. I'm really sorry to have to write this negative review, as I love the concept, but it's just not very practical in daily use.

A Fantastic Substitute
In the mornings I rarely have time to finish a cup of tea before I have to leave, and so this is very useful. Many of my friends admire it, and have all said they want one of their own! Easy to clean and carry, it's one of my favourite mugs, so I even use it in the house. It's also perfect for clumsy people like me because of the spillproof lid! My only complaint is that it is quite heavy, and it can't simply be put into a bag once finished, so carrying it around all day can be quite a chore.
