Dyson's patented Root Cyclone technology doesn't require a bag to trap dust and dirt. Rather than requiring a bag, the Dyson DC24 spins the air so fast that centrifugal forces up to 268,000 times the force of gravity to fling dust and dirt out of the air and straight into the transparent bin. Fine dust particles can limit airflow in ordinary bagless vacuums whereas Dyson machines don't lose suction.
