Just think of the time Michelangelo could have saved if he'd had one of these kits to hand. Sculpture in an instant. All you have to do is mix up the magic powder to make a smooth liquid, pour it into the bucket provided, plunge your hand into the goo and leave it there for seven minutes. Remove your hand carefully and fill the hole with the mixed plaster of paris, and hey presto, in one hour you can peel away the goo and you'll have an amazingly detailed, full sculpture of your hand. You can then paint it with either the white or the bronze effect paint that come in the box. This is such a cool bit of home kit, you can make any number objets d'art, and it's immense fun and remarkably easy. Move over Rodin.
ENSURE that your bare skin does not come into contact with Plaster of Paris as this results in nasty burns - ouch.

Thumbs up!
My younger brother (he's 22 this year) is the kind of guy who sees stuff he wants all the time and rather than waiting and asking for it at Christmas or Birthday he thinks nothing of awarding himself with regular self-appreciation gifts. Well, what better gift to get the master in self-appreciation? …a hand casting kit! I would bet money on the fact that he will agonise over how best to immortalise himself and when he finally does make the cast I just know that he will paint it gold – my only hope is that he does actually use it to cast his hand rather than any other part of his anatomy…eeek!

Hit Christmas Present
Bought it as a Christmas present for Granddaughter. She made the gold hand with the help of her Mum (kept them both occupied over Christmas!!). When I saw it I was pleasantly surprised by its good looks. Useful too - perched on a shelf with a mobile phone standing in it. Downside - there's only enough powder to make one hand so have bought her another Hand Casting Kit for her birthday so that she can make another one when her hand is bigger.

Great fun
This is amazingly easy and satisfying to do. The result was much better than I had ever imagined; a perfect replica of my hand that now sits holding the TV remote!

Great present!
I bought this for my brother and he couldn't wait to have a go! It's really easy to use, I can't see how it can go wrong as long as you follow the instructions and it looks fantastic when it's all finished! The bronze paint is a great touch and you could always get your own paint and do it another way!

Unique Gift
I bought this for me and my son to do, it was a bit tricky keeping him still for 5-6 mins but we managed with a lot of giggling!! it was sooo easy and once it had dried we eagerly painted it with the gloss. I was most impressed with the detail the cast captured, including fingerprints and jewellery. I've since bought one for a friend who loved it and am going to buy another for christmas present. Highly recommend.
