There comes a time in every man's life when his credit card has to take a serious beating, or then again perhaps not. This absurdly large diamond ring (evidently not a real diamond) could solve all that financial heartache. I received your Diamond Ring Paperweight on the Tuesday and proposed to my girlfriend on the Wednesday (on top of a hill with a suitably picturesque view etc etc). She was so impressed with the size of the ring I was offering she accepted! Unfortunately I now have to buy her a 'proper' one with real diamonds (she doesn't believe it's real, no matter how many times I tell her).

What a fantastic investment opportunity. I recently got one of these beauties and, rather than waste it on a proposal, realised its true potential. I am currently negotiating with the bank to use this as collateral for my £50,000,000 retirement loan. Should be a piece of cake really. The original packaging bears testimony to it being a diamond, although, oddly enough, mine seemed to be missing its deBeers' Certificate of Authenticity, but I feel certain this is purely an administrative oversight, and this will be forwarded on to me.
