If you use it as a bedside alarm clock, you can switch off the rainbow effects while you sleep (though why bother when you can cosy down in its ambient glow?). All it takes is a gentle tap on the clock's tactile, rubbery top to light it up for about 30 seconds so that you can see the time without knocking your glass of water or book off the bedside table.

I got mine just before Xmas, it's been really good. Apart from being an alarm clock, it's good as a night light to use with the laptop or PC. Absolutely love this clock. It's the only light I've ever discovered that I can sleep through, giving a great warm comforting glow. The alarm is insistent without sounding like a car alarm, and it has that ever essential snooze function. Highly recommended.

I got this clock with my first pay check around November last year, my alarm clock had just broken and I was looking everywhere for a replacement, as it happened I came across i want one of those and just started to browse. I saw this clock and just knew that this clock was the one. It would make my room look 10x cooler, and I have to say I was not let down, however my expectations were not met - they were exceeded! This clock is one of pure beauty, it changed my dull white room to a brightly coloured attractive room which I now enjoy sitting in. After a while you begin to get the real hang of the clock and you can tell by the colour of the room what time it is. Not only that but when I have friends over to entertain they are all attracted by my clock; they sit and play with it and ask where I bought it. Three of them have now bought one because of my recommendation.
This clock, whether a gift or for yourself, is absolutely fantastic, the alarm is loud, and the flashing of the colours really helps you wake up, and for you lazy people it's perfect because the snooze button is very easy to use.
The clock itself is very bright and is reasonably small and therefore you can place it anywhere. However the size is not equal to the quality, the display is bright and easy to see, and the light is soft and is easy to sleep with or if it's a gift for a child it works as an excellent night light.
I found this clock to be one of the best items on this site and I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone and everyone!

This is brilliant! I can sleep through the light (which is an absolute miracle since normally the world has to be pitch black to give me a fighting chance!). The alarm is loud enough but not so loud that its scares you witless, and the 5 minute snooze is just right!

I got me one of these as soon as I saw it on here. They're great!! Forget laser projector clocks, this thing is a thousand times better, and easier to use. The days of having to hit a clock with a hammer to get it to stop bleeping at you are over. With this, just give it a gentle stroke and it'll instantly give you that much appreciated '5 more minutes'. The alarm sounds great, the colours look great, the instructions are simple and even when it's turned off, you can tap it and it lights up for about 10 seconds, displaying the time and date, and supplying the whole room with a relaxing, vivid aura of pure coloured bliss...

A great Christmas present! Easy to operate, pleasing colours, A nice big display and the soft touch top has a nice feel. The top is used to stop the alarm. My only problem is, when viewed at a high angle, the display appears unusually. Apart from that, it's great! It makes a nice addition to any room, and any style.

This clock is the best clock i have ever seen! i got mine for christmas and I love it, the colours are great and makes it easy to tell time, and its amazing at night. You are sound asleep on bed, dreaming of all those lovely things you can think of: lush green meadows, jumping sheep. And before you know it you feel like you're in the body of Bob Marley: the whole world changes colours flashing the full spectrum of the rainbow, only that everything *yes including that sheep* is changing colour simultaniously. As if that wasn't enough, a rythmnic pattern of beeping follows through, a sure sign that somebody is on something addictive. You open your eyes and realise 'Aurora has been demonstrating Guy Fawke's night' yet again. If any of you guys can find a clock that has the same effect on my dreaming, I'll dub you geniuses. This clock is great, but the only problem is that I have had it for about 6 weeks, and it has now stopped working. I have tried changing the batteries and no luck, so it isn't very long lasting.

This is a wicked little clock, I suffer from insomnia and this little light helps me drop off to sleep as it has a comforting glow but helps if I do happen to wake up again at silly o'clock in the morning while it's still pitch black outside and still be able to find my way out of the bedroom without blinding myself or waking up my partner. Beautiful at night when you just want to relax with some music on, the demo button works great! If you don't want the lights then just tap it and it'll light up in any colour it wants. It's brilliant and I don't know what took me so long to get one!!

I bought this clock for a mate's birthday & I pulled it out of the box to check it and see if it was satisfactory before I wrapped it up. I was really impressed with it, it was mega funky, and I was also impressed with the way you could either stop it on a certain colour, let it cycle through them or have it glowing a different colour each hour. It's so cheery to look at that even my boyfriend's little boy wanted one!

I bought this for my sister for her 21st birthday, she said she needed a new clock so I thought this would be perfect! Especially considering the comments speculating around the mood changes different lighting can bring - purely because, despite her age, she is as moody as ever.
This clock really does work, she's less moody in the mornings!! Unfortunately she does not take the clock to work with her so it has no effect on her return home..

The Aurora Mood Clock is brillant!!! When my friend told me about the Mood Clock i thought that it would be about £20 but it's actually mind blowingly cheap!!! Also when i wake up late at night i only have to tap the clock for it to light up and tell me the Time, Date, what day it is, whether my alarm is set and what time it is set. Also when im stressed out after doing coursework the different mood colours really help to calm me down!!!

Nice clock, BUT you better avoid changing any setting if your partner is already asleep as the clock beeps loudly any time you press any button! Guess how many beeps if you wish to wake up at 06:55 instead of 07:05? I tried, and my partner was no more in good mood. Actually, I cannot find my clock anymore...
