The Sound Cylinder Speaker actually sounds as good as it looks. It's made up of two magnetised cylinders that clip together for transportation but come apart to give you great stereo sound while you're out and about. You can use them with your iPhone or iPod.

Portable, convenient, though not very loud.
It's great having portable speakers that have some oomph while not requiring a mains cable. These provide good quality sound and more volume than your average smartphone speaker, but they aren't going to fill the space for an impromptu party in the lounge. The build is really solid, which is pleasing, and the magnetic clip action for holding them together is well-calibrated: strong enough for convenience, weak enough that they can be pulled apart easily with one hand.
Unexpectedly brilliant
The Sound Cylinder Speaker is a small, funky with a great sound quality for such a small piece of kit. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of these little speakers when watching films on my laptop. Neatly going together when not in use. Only gave 4 stars as the cable comes separately, and could get misplaced or lost, when I had hoped it might have to be attached and stored with the pods in some way. Otherwise a great little buy.
Speaker review
These portable speakers are amazing. The fact that you can have them as 1 or split them for surround sound is just ideal. The sound quality isn't as brilliant as I thought it would be, but it's perfectly adequate for speakers that size.
I want More!!
My wife bought the Sound Cylinder Speaker for me, and they are the best mini speakers I have ever had. They have great sound which is the most important thing! Sadly, I put them on the side of my hot tub, and one vibrated in! I will be buying a new pair, very good value for money.

These turned up today, and for the size they are, they put out a big sound. Charging is quick and they've lasted a long time. Would be good if they came with a little bag to protect them when carrying about, but all-round, it's a good little buy!

These items have been purchased as a gift, and although I have not tried them out, they look better than the website picture, and I am very pleased to be able to give them to my teenager.

I recently bought these speakers as my last set of speakers required a power source of its own and it would drain the battery for my MP3. Bought these and the quality of them was great. The Sound was crisp and I could hear it across the room.
