Run by Practical Action, this wonderful project gives goats to families in Kenya, Zimbabwe and Bangladesh, providing not only a source of nutritious milk (and a loveable pet!), but also enabling the goat's new owners to breed them and generate a sustainable income to free themselves from poverty.
ALL of the money we receive from 'Gift Of A Goat' (ex P&P) goes to fund Practical Action's work around the world, wherever the need is greatest. In order not to alarm the postman we won't be sending you any goats, however much you may want one, the goats stay in these countries. We will however send you a modestly designed gift pack (it is a charity, after all) containing information about your Practical Present, and a special Fairtrade hanging decoration keepsake from Nepal.
