Description

It has a heat reactive world map painted on the side, so when your boiling water starts to warm the mug the countries will change colour to reveal just how much they produce in carbon emissions on an annual basis. It's quite enlightening, and more than a little bit concerning - nothing a stiff cup of tea (or a dedicated carbon reduction policy) can't fix though. It's not too late to change the world - you just need to take it one brew at a time.

Colour change on the CO2 Mug is really strong, so looks good. Great present for an environmental champion!
It's quite cool
It's really fun watching the CO2 Mug change but put it through the dishwasher twice and all you have is a big blue mug!
Oops..
Well the CO2 Mug seemed fine at first, but there wasn't much warning about not putting the mug into warm water. When the mug was accidentally put into a bowl of warm water, the sticker shrivelled up and it was ruined. Seems a bit of a silly idea to make the outside of the cup a non-heat resistant sticker in the first place considering the main purpose of the mug. So unlike me, beware!
Novelty Gift
Bought this CO2 Mug as a present, so didn't try it myself. The recipient loved it though and really appreciated there new mug.
CO2 Mug
Love this mug! When you make a brew in it each country glows to show how much CO2 that it emits. Had it about a year and it still glows brightly. Although the protective film has started to peel at the edges now it hasn't affected the design of the mug. Very colourful and a useful tool for a Geography teacher - definitely one of my favourite presents :)
