Description

The turtle emits a warm ambient glow from his shell, casting eight night sky constellations on to the walls of your child's bedroom. This soothing night light, with 3 relaxing colours, not only helps your children go to sleep, but you can teach them 8 of the most recognisable constellations whilst reading them their favourite bedtime story.

Besides making the Twilight Turtle look gorgeous in the dark, the three colours of the nightlight have a practical use: the autumnal glow of amber radiates warmth, good cheer and peace; blue is supposed to calm the mind and the senses - it's one of the most natural colours in the world and it encourages relaxation and promotes a good night's sleep; green is the colour of life - it too can be found everywhere in nature and is said to have healing and rejuvenating properties. So not only do you get a very cute soft plush turtle with a star emitting shell, it's also a great relaxation aid for your child.

Growing up is hard enough without being afraid of the dark. Wouldn't you want a furry friend to light the way to good nights sleep?

  • A plush turtle nightlight with a hard, light-up shell.
  • The shell has eight star constellations carved into it, so when you switch on the turtle's night light, stars and a crescent moon will be projected on your child's wall.
  • The light will automatically switch off after 45 minutes but you can easily switch it back on by re-pressing the "on" button.
  • The turtle glows three relaxing colours: amber, blue and green.

The Turtle projects the following constellations:

  • Orion (famous for Orion's Belt).
  • Draco - The Dragon.
  • Ursa Minor - The little Dipper (contains Polaris, the North Pole Star).
  • Canis Major - The Greater Dog.
  • Cepheus.
  • Pegasus - The Winged Horse.
  • Gemini.
  • Ursa Major.
  • Includes a certificate of adoption for your Turtle and a booklet explaining the constellations and a story all about your child's new turtle friend.
  • Suitable for children aged 3 years +.
  • Requires 3 x AAA batteries (included).

Size:

  • 30 x 19 x 12cm.

Not for little ones

This Twilight Turtle is a great idea, but if you don't turn it off when you go to bed, it can freak little ones out in the night. My 2.5 year old decided that the roof was on fire and came in shouting that we need to call the fire brigade and an ambulance which is not appreciated at 3am. This may suit older children, or ones with less fertile imaginations.

Nice product, but doesn't mix with football...

The Twilight Turtle is a decent product and my two year old daughter quite likes it. Thing is, after being forced to shut the curtains and turn off the lights (and the football) on a Saturday afternoon and to hear, "find moooooooon, Daddy, find moooooooooon" for two hours, I'm starting to question how sensible a purchase it was.

Great product

I bought this Twilight Turtle as a Christmas present for a baby boy. It is a beautiful present. I tried it out and in a dark room and it gives off a lovely glow to the room, which changes colour at the flick of a switch. That coupled with the education of star constellations, I am very pleased with this purchase.

it calms my baby

I bought this item a few weeks ago and love it. My baby boy is 4 months old and has calmed so much since having him near his bed. It's excellent and it grows with him. He has a lot to learn with this turtle when he's older about the constellations. I also find it quite calming in bed looking up to a starry sky, my favourite colour is the blue

Turtley Brilliant

I have a teething baby and very little distracts her from the pain......but this did! The stars on the ceiling are Magical. She's too young to understand all of the constellations yet, but it means that this toy has more to offer as she grows. She's sleeping now having drifted off to a starry peace. :-)

So Beautiful

I love this Turtle! I have bought it for my beautiful baby niece Charlotte. Only just born on Sunday morning so she probably won't appreciate how awesome it is for a while yet. Switching it on in a dark room made me feel like a child again, it's just m-m-m-magical!

I bought this for my 2 year old to help her sleep at night. The projection is very good, and the light cast just enough. Delivery was fantastic, it arrived the next morning before 8am so she could open it as a reward for having slept through the previous night.

Twilight Turtle - magic!

The turtle is truly magnificent - it glows three different colours, which all have distinct properties - whether you've got a bit of a limp, need a yoga aid, or a cuddly way to warm yourself on a chilly day, the Twilight Turtle will exceed your wildest dreams.

the turtle

This was a wee pressy for my son who was finding it a tad difficult to stay in his bed at night. Now he has this wee turtle when ever he feels unsure he switches the light on and falls back asleep again! He's only 2 1/2 and since having his new friend he now has a new fascination with the cosmos shouting out when he see's the moon and even orions belt!! Brilliant gift idea and an excellent buy for the money!!! FANTASTIC!

This product really works

There are a lot of different star projectors on the market. Unfortunately most of them are expensive, complicated, fiddly to set up, and simply don't work very well. All of those problems are resolved by the Twilight Turtle. There is no frustrating messing about and configuration, just an on/off button and three different colour displays to choose from. There is no disappointment with the brightness of the display. Turn this on and instantly your room is turned into an interstellar wonderland, with stars and the moon, all in correct figuration so you can identify the constellations from the comfort of your warm snug bed. I bought this as a Xmas present for my 8 year old son and was worried he might find it a bit babyish. I needn't of worried. His first request when he gets into bed at night is for the turtle to be turned on. I was supicious of all the 5 star ratings on the IWOOT website, but now I realise those stars are earnt by your excellent product selection. Well done, this gift is a real winnner.

Twilight Turtle FTW

This is the perfect gift for any child coming out of their cot. Its not easilly knocked off a table and doesn't attract your child towards the electrical outlet.

twilight turtle

My other half has a real thing for tortoises and turtles. Pressi time is here and trying to find something from my kids is always tricky. I saw this, showed them.. and I'm not sure who was happier.. the kids on buyng it and trying it or her on opening it. Personally, I dont let them know I play with it while they're out, but its a great little night light.. and amuses my son who already has a solar system mobile and planets on the ceiling. i might have to buy shares in a battery manufacturer soon I'm just working out if I can build a model of Terry Pratchets Discworld for it now..
