Scratch Map given the mini touch
Prompted by the success of the original Scratch Map, we got together with the creative heads at Luckies of London to create a new travel edition version. The miniature map is still as cool as its predecessor but cuter in every way. It makes the best present for any globetrotter as the map (in its sturdy tube) fits into your rucksack without taking up too much valuable room.
This is a unique world map that you can personalise based on the countries you have visited. Now you have the choice to choose between a handy travel size version, or the original larger version.
For those of you new to the Scratch Map, it is a map that you scratch off the countries you have visited to reveal gorgeous geographical detail underneath. It is a good way to show how well-travelled you are and a great way to remind you of oversees experiences. An ideal gift for the backpackers and globetrotters among you.
The top layer of the map is made of gold foil for easy scratching. Rub it with the edge of a coin, scratch-card style, to reveal the colourful detail underneath. Perfect for travellers
This made for a unique and cool gift for a friend who loves to travel different places. However, I think it's important to note that some of the country boundaries, especially the smaller ones, aren't very easy to make out and makes it different to know where to stop scratching! So, although this small travel edition is easy to carry around, maybe the larger version would have been a better choice.

I bought some old Scratch Maps a few years back. I gave them as presents and people loved them. When people come to our home they love ours (which is on the wall) so I decided to buy a few more to give away. This Travel Edition Scratch Map is cool but I much prefer the bigger version. This Travel Edition Scratch Map is a brilliant idea as a gift for someone who loves to travel. I bought one for my friend and she loved it, she can scratch off all the places she has been to and plan where she wants to go in the future. I have recently come back from the trip of a lifetime, around the world in 8 months! The Travel Edition Scratch Map is a fantastic piece to keep in our holiday box, marking off every place we went to. I bought two of these: one for every place I have ever been and one soley for my around the world trip. Get one or two they are great to keep with all the holiday snaps!
Unusual gift
I bought this Exclusive Travel Edition Scratch Map for my boyfriend for our first year anniversary. We're both interested in travel so I thought he'd be able to scratch off the places we go together and make a great record of our relationship. I liked this because it can be romantic but it's not too cheesy. The presentation tube the map arrived in was great and had loads of interesting details. It looks like it would be easy to transport as well. The tube was a little larger than I expected, I was worried that it would be really tiny and look cheap, but I think it looks like I spent more than I did. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a slightly unusual gift.

Bought the Scratch Map as a birthday present for someone. I can't give it 5 stars as it was meant for somebody else so I couldn't open and use it myself but still, it's a great concept so 4 stars.
