Calling all Arachnophobes - your saving grace has arrived. Say hello to the Spider Catcher, a handy little device that allows you to rid your home of those evil eight-legged critters without having to resort to squashing them in a tissue.
The long pole features a set of spiny bristles which captures the spider as you release the trigger. Just take the offending beast outside and pull the trigger to set it free, without causing it any harm.
The spider catcher can also be used on wasps, bees and other stinging insects. - L.M.

Works really great! Comes with a cover for the bristles, a hook to hang it on and a plastic spider to practice with! Fun to play with and use! Save the spiders, they're useful against other pests.
Pretty well made and seems to work as advertised, though I havn't tried it on a real spider yet (works well on the plastic spider included!). Look foraward to using it on the real thing when the warmer weather arrives and they all wake up!
I’ve bought the spider catcher for my daughter, who’s so afraid of spiders, she threw away her new handbag because there was a spider walking on it! The spider catcher is bigger than expected, but it really works! The pole is long enough to catch spiders, and other unwanted visitors, without coming to near and the bristles hold the spider long enough to bring it to a safe place. And it helps my daughter to save money. She doesn’t have to throw away things with a spider on it anymore.
Excellent product. I already had one which was in great demand by my grandson (3 years) whenever he visited. Always keen to do a spider hunt. Bought more to give him one of his own. Good for people who like to keep spiders at arms length, and because of the design can reach to the ceiling and into corners where spiders like to hide. Also can reach through windows to deposit the catch outside and see them drop. The 2nd extra catcher went to daughter in new flat (hope she doesn't need to use it). Catcher will also deal with butterflies without harming them. Recommend highly.
amazing how many people are scared of spiders and won't go near them. This device works and catches them without having to get too near; you can them be kind and put them outside. Easy to use and really works without any danger of them falling onto the floor and scarpering away. I have one on both floors of my house for just those emergencies.
What a great idea my wife dislikes spiders and this means she can catch them at arms length whilst I'm at wor
Bought my daughters one each of these spider catchers as a kind of jokey present and they ended the star of Christmas. Not only did my grandaughters play with them all Christmas instead of all the expensive pressies we bought them they also saved my daughters life (her dramatic words) when she found a spider in her home. Absolutely brilliant!!!
This gadget is a good idea. My husband doesn't like spiders and is allergic to bees and wasp stings so he can deal with these himself now! We tried it out and it seems to work just fine.
If you hate spiders but you don't want to hurt them then this is a must have. I have had mine for over a year and I wouldn't be without it. Very satisfying picking up massive spiders... they never get away with this. Recommend for every household.
Bought this as a stocking filler for my parents due to a serious spider issue in our area. Now we can move them outside quickly and safely! Useful and a fun present, I'd definitely recommend.
I bought this as a bit of a gadgety gimmick for my mum as she is terrified of all arachnids and is quite often tearing across her house like an exocet missile for a vessel of varying description to trap her quarry before calling me to escort it from the premises. Tired of her phone calls I bought her this and thus far SUCCESS! She has used it quite a few times on different creepy crawlies and has no bother relocating all manner of wildlife into the garden. Great gimmick that works!
brilliant and perfect gift for my friend who is terrified of spiders
Easy to use at a safe distance from the spider. My mum has arthritic hands but is able to use the device with ease.
I've bought this as part of a Christmas gift for my daughter as she is terrified of spiders. I though it would be good fun.
Works really well on spiders and other creepy crawlies. I like the wee hook so that it can be hung in the cupboard. No running around wondering where it is. If anything, I might have liked an even longer handle to keep me even further away from the big blighters.
Very competitive price and it does exactly what it says on the pack!!
Only used it once so far on a very large fast spider. Very humane, simple, effective product, which does exactly what it meant to do - brilliant!
Product is great for catching spiders and very easy to use. Still yet to convince my girlfriend that the spider won't escape but it is better than having to catch them by hand! Doesn't harm the spiders. Need to clean every time really because the webs get stuck to it!
Fantastic gadget to get rid of creepy crawlies without having to get up close and personal. Have also bought one as a gift.
Quite a number of spiders have now been discommoded and turfed out of my house. This year there are a whole lot of false widow spiders and, as these are new to Ireland, I am freaking out over them. Now however, with my spider catcher they can be deposited outside safely :-)
