Description

Despite being an essential office item, sticky notes aren't terribly exciting. However, these Origami Sticky Notes will help make memo writing a little less mundane and a little more creative.

Each sticky note has its own instructions and dotted lines for you to follow, letting you create cute designs from cats, swans and even a cup (although we don't advise drinking from it, paper isn't the most waterproof material after all!). There are 100 designs for you to literally try your hand at. - L.M.

Features:

  • Exercise your mind and discover the ancient Japanese art of paper folding while you're in the office
  • Easy to follow diagrams for 10 models: cat, swan, hat, cup, snake, piano, boat, pigeon, penguin and pelican
  • 100 notes to a pack
  • Each features instructions on how to transform the note into a mini Origami model
  • Suitable for 8+
  • Size: 7.5 x 7.5 x 1cm

Time wasting temptation

Fun to fiddle with while trying to work out how to word a succinct message to a colleague! Some nice little models can be made if your fingers are nimble!

Not so great a product

I liked the idea, however I think that the design is a bit flawed. Making the origami pieces is very difficult with such a small piece of paper and it's also very difficult to put them together when the instructions are being folded more and more as you carry on!

Great idea.

I don't know about everyone else but I'm constantly needing to write things down but will find myself throwing it away almost instantly. This present is a way to liven up the dullest of days whether you're at work and writing down contact details or just need to leave a note to someone, just having the ability to then make an origami model out of it really makes it worthwhile - a must have!

Got this Origami Sticky Note Pad for my 7yr olds birthday as a little extra and he loves it. Keeps telling me in what order he will be making the next model. Good price and great little time waster.

How great to have a post it note to write on or play with. The Origami Sticky Note Pads are brilliant for children from about age 7 to adults. The pad is quite small but the origami will be cute.

fun but sticky

The Origami Sticky Note Pad were a good idea, then when making them ran into a few problems. The origami got folded as we were trying to make them, also they were very small which makes them quite fiddly. I ended up using larger paper to make the origami. If you like a challenge, then it's great.

Great

Maybe it was just me but at first I found some of the instructions for the Origami Sticky Note Pad easy to understand. I folded it as stated but still not sure I did the swan tail thing correctly, but it looks like like a swan, so good enough for me. Sometimes the directions on one side of the sticky note were visible on the finished product.

The Origami Sticky Note Pad arrived really quickly. I ordered them as a present for someone and I'd give them 5 stars but I think the post it pad should have more notes on it and be slightly larger, so it's easier to fold them.

be more productive and get folding!

Hours of fun at your office desk or at home by the phone - and here's how. Cheer up your phone call with the dreaded mother in law by simply saying yes every few seconds whilst folding and making an origami cats head. Very satisfying. Bored in the monthly boardroom meeting or a boring conference coming up at work? take your post its with, they are as precious as a security blanket. It will also look like you are concentrating writing notes from what the regional manager is parping on about as you stare down and concentrate whilst making a swan, with flapping wings! Enjoy x

Is it a bird?

I'm not entirely sure what the point of these is, but I bought them as a gift and the recipient seemed more impressed with them than anything else they got for Christmas. I did find myself having to appease them with nodding agreement that, "yes, it does look like a swan". Whatever floats your flotsam I suppose.

Great Stocking Filler

I bought several of these for stocking fillers which everybody loved - more than their expensive gifts! Notes were written and a large number of animals and inanimate objects were created. The only adverse comment I have is that the instructions for each shape are printed on the front of the note so you have to write over them. Bit of a design fault there but great fun otherwise.

Excellent value to make a point

I've never come across an office where there is not someone who needs putting in their place just a little. A post it note with an implied intention for it to be refashioned is a subtle point - or in those meetings that are boring, you can do something to take your mind off droning voices!

Fun but fiddaly

I brought this for my 13 year old son. This is somthing that he would pick up every now and then when he is borad. It is fun but where the pad is so small the animals can be quite difficult to make if you have little patience. You can veiw how this works on youtube, just type in the name and veiw away.
