Not only is it heart-shaped, but it's also decorated with hundreds of tiny hearts to prove exactly how deep your love is (deeper than a cup of tea, you'd hope). Even better than that, though, a message made up of those hearts magically appears as soon as you put a hot liquid in - "I Love You". Which is nice.
The colour-changing comes from the thermochrome coating on the mug, which becomes transparent when hot liquid is poured in, making the message visible.

Good Mug BUT.......
This is a great mug and the wife loved it, it has been used twice and washed by hand each time and the heart stickers are falling off. Personally I would of thought it would of been better quality.

The colour changing hearts all fell off after a few uses, and I only ever washed it by hand.

My fiance sent me this and I love it! It is so cute and is a talking point in the kitchen when I make a cup of tea. Now all the men I work with are buying them for their girlfriends and wives! It starts off as rows of red hearts, but when hot water is poured into it, most go pale pink leaving 'I love you' written in the remaining hearts. Brilliant gift idea for your girlfriend!
Amazing.
I got my girlfriend one of these for Valentines day. I hid the box away from her and watched as she made herself a cup of coffee, she was talking away to me when she noticed that the mug had changed and revealed the message on the side. She squealed with excitement and her face said it all, she loved this gift. She uses it all the time now when she has a hot drink. Well worth the price for lots of smiles.
