I bought two of these Fried Egg Cup Ceramic Egg and Bread Soldier Plates and absolutely love them - they are so quirky but practical too. There's enough space on the plate to have another egg and soldiers - I only wished they 'stacked' on top of each other for storage. This is a great item which will put a smile on your face everytime you use it. I'm off to boil an egg now!
Perfect stocking filler
The Fried Egg Cup Ceramic Egg and Bread Soldier Plate is a well made, well packaged and fun item that initially was purchased as a tongue-in-cheek stocking filler. Once it arrived, it was very quickly upgraded to a better present! This is both dishwasher and microwave safe. I would recommend this for adults and kids alike. It was slightly smaller than I expected, but then I do tend to have about 32 soldiers, so that's not too surprising!

I bought a few of these Fried Egg Cup Ceramic Egg and Bread Soldier Plate. This is one for my 100 year old granny who loves it, she giggles whenever she sees it! The others I bought for my aunt and uncle. My uncle suffered a stroke a few years ago and has found this egg cup to be a really useful aid for him. He can't use traditional egg cups because his hands are very shaky and he used to knock the egg over - but this one allows him to steady the egg cup with one hand as his eats - he and my aunt are delighted! What was a jokey stocking filler has become an unexpected hit that will be used often!

I love this Fried Egg Cup Ceramic Egg and Bread Soldier Plate. It only lost a star because the egg holder part is a little too big for medium eggs.

Ideal gift for soft-boiled egg lover
My mum has a soft-boiled egg and soldiers for breakfast nearly every morning so I bought the Fried Egg Cup Ceramic Egg and Bread Soldier Plate as a Christmas gift. It is slightly smaller than I expected, but looks great with the yellow yolk centre and the packaging (straw in the box etc) is fantastic. I think she'll really like it, I can't comment on what it's like to use yet, but it does make a good gift choice.
