Twilight Jar - Pink

I bought a sun jar as I spend far too much money on candles and wanted a similar effect that would last. The sun jar did not disapoint. However, after having it for a few months, I've noticed that the charge does not last as long. I will definately be buying a new battery for it though, as it is so worth it.

A slightly disappointing purchase Works beautifully after spending all day in brilliant sun, but in the normal UK summer it flickers and struggles Lovely relaxing blue light when it works, though!

I have the sun and the twilight jars. They are fab. Amazing how they catch the sun and twilight!! I love them and they give out a gorgeous glow all night.

I purchased the "twilight jar " for my loved one as a birthday gift. We had stumbled upon iWoot and I recalled he had mentioned that the sun/moon jars seemed cool. I am in the USA and was looking for an overseas based website to order gifts from for him and some of my friends based there (he is in Ireland atm). I was excited to order this, along with a few other things off this site, and couldn't wait for him to recieve this. Come midnight on his birthday, he tore through his box like a little boy and was looking at everything and was so super excited when he saw THIS item especially. He described it all and opened it ASAP and set it up by his window sill and was urging the day to come faster to charge it! He was impressed with it right off and could not wait to see it in action. Later that evening, he asked me to turn on the webcam and I was looking at a black screen and then suddenly the face and form of my beloved bathed in a beautiful, mesmerizing, pink, dusky glow. It was simply enchanting! The glow was SO BEAUTIFUL! It was not overly bright nor was it overly dim. It was just right and it was very soothing. Even better? Seeing the huge and awesome smiles of my man as he turned the jar over and over in his hands and just looking at it like a little boy and hearing him say "sooooo cooollll, my love! Thank you" over and over! The product works very well. Even better than we thought. The glow lasted for a very long time and it was great quality and the price was just right too! Further, the service from iWoot was better than anything I've ever dealt with here in the USA, bar none! From ordering, to billing, to shipping, wrapping and fast service..everything was perfect! The smiles on my man's face was beyond worth it. I definitely recommend this product to everyone..and, in fact, have already forwarded this (and iWoot) to many friends! This is highly recommended! Too bad there are not more stars to add for this! ORDER IT! You won't regret it!

Purchased all three jars a short while ago. Been tempted for ages and finally succumbed. The best for light is the Twilight jar, it glows for hours. The sun and moon ones are rather disappointing as even after the same amount of battery charge/sunlight (they have all been sitting on the same windowsill) we are lucky if they glow for a couple of hours. I still love the light they emit, just wish it could be for longer. Had been going to order another six for the garden but not so sure now. Would still recommend them though, maybe we were just unlucky.

Beautiful, but mine starts rhythmically flashing on and off after the first few hours of steady light. It's kind of annoying. I wonder if this is normal?

The sun jar is a just super gift - it looks cool and funky but is brilliantly practical for camping, the garden and just in the kitchen in between times.

The one thing I would say about this one is don't buy it for someone in winter, if they live in Scotland. You can recharge it with lightbulb light but it took an age to get it working properly. Once it did though, it was very atmospheric - we'd sort of given up on it and came back into the room to be surprised and delighted by the blue glow. It really is a cool thing :).

I am very pleased with the Sun/Moon/Twilight Jars. The frosted glass gives a nice finish and creates the soft glow when they are illuminated. Sat on the window sill they recharge during the day without any problems. I think the Moon one is my favourite with its deep blue glow :)

I brought a Moon Jar as a Christmas present for my boyfriend, it was the perfect gift. It didnt take too long to charge on Christmas day and soon the whole family was admiring the beautiful blue glow. Sadly i dont think the weather has been good enough for it to charge properly, so we havent been able to enjoy it as much as we would have liked. (Glad i checked back here to see we can charge it with an electric battery charger) Can't wait for the days of sunshine to come along...and brighten up our evening! I look forward to buying a Twilight Jar next.
