I'm Rolling Rolling Rolling!
Really really struggled to find a Christmas Present for my 12 Year old son so took a chance on Sphero 2! Wasn't disappointed as my son loves it as he can control it with his iPad, change the colour, play many games, make it shake it's booty like Beyoncé (haha) Etc! My first purchase from IWOOT and I got a great deal too so would like to thank them for pulling out all the stops to get me it in time for Christmas! - Happy New Year - Thanks IWOOT! ;-)
I had intended to buy Sphero 1 from another website but having received a great discount offer from IWOOT I was able to buy Sphero 2 for the same price. Sphero 2 is apparently faster and brighter than Sphero 1. I bought this item as a present for my daughter who. thinks it's great even having so far downloaded only one of the free apps. I was concerned that it would not work with her Samsung tablet ( not being Apple) but I need not have been worried as it connected straight away . It is a fun gadget that can be played on your own and give hours of fun. She has since bought the Nubby cover which apparently gives better grip outside and more drive in water but she has not yet tested this. I would recommends this gadget.
Sphero lives up to its promises and delivers endless entertainment. I bought it as a Christmas present for my 13 year old daughter. She downloaded the free apps to her ipad and we were amazed at the variety of functions and games that it can perform. I have downloaded an Android app to my phone but haven't managed to wrest it from her grasp to have a go myself yet! We do recommend purchasing a suitable Nubby Cover to protect it and give traction for climbing steep slopes. It's a necessity in water as the smooth Sphero just spins on the spot without it. A three hour charge gives an hour's playtime. Just plug in the charger and sit Sphero on it, the light shows when it is fully charged.
Fun little toy, though might not hold attention for that long
Bought as a present for the cat, not me honest! Good fun and quality build; having to re-align is a pain though, as after a big knock you can't control easily I find; but I was racing it around heavily. Need to play more with coding it, as making it "think" is where its really going to be interesting.
