I bought the Sound Asleep Pillow as a present for a friend's birthday, and she loves it! She likes to listen to music at night and this eliminates the need for headphones which used to tangle around her neck when she was sleeping. The quality of sound is great too, wish I'd bought one for myself now!

what a brilliant way to fall asleep

Honestly this Sound Asleep Pillow is a great idea. I struggle to go to sleep at night and love listening to music to help me relax. At the opposite end of the scale my husband needs complete silence to fall asleep, so it was either this pillow or separate rooms! The brilliant thing about this pillow is that it really does not disturb your partner, and they cannot hear the music! The pillow is also really comfortable and long lasting. I have had mine for over a year now and it is still like new.

Actually works

I bought two of the Sound Asleep Pillows (one for me and one for my husband) and so far I'm pretty impressed. Depending on the level of volume you can hear the music from someone else's pillow but if you're using one of your own it drowns it out. I've found it does help me sleep and stops any issues with my music annoying my husband or vice versa. The sound quality is good considering it's through a pillow. So far I haven't noticed any uncomfortable lumps or bumps in the pillow from the speaker. Definitely does stop the uncomfortable headphone situation beautifully. I would definitely recommend the Sound Asleep Pillow.

Helps Combat Tinnitus

I bought the Sound Asleep Pillow for my son who suffers from tinnitus, the soft music from inside the pillow (he uses his smartphone) really helps him to drift off to sleep. He describes it as, "large and comfy".

no more strangling!

I bought this for my daughter - she's delighted. No more waking in the morning being swaddled in headphone wires and it's as comfy a pillow as her previous ones. My only regret that I didn't get it sooner!

Quiet as a mouse

I bought this for my husband as he likes to listen to music on his ipod in bed but doesn't like waking up with ear bud related ear ache! I was a bit dubious at first as I am a light sleeper and thought it might be loud enough for me to hear and find annoying but you really can't hear it as long as you keep the volume at a lowish level. I have heard the speaker is easy enough to detach and then slip into a normal pillow case.

Sound Asleep Pillow

I bought one of these Sound Asleep Pillows for my husband, who has trouble sleeping in silence. He wouldn't believe that it worked, but it did! Now I don't have to listen to the radio as he uses it to try and fall asleep.

I received one of these for Christmas and was a little skeptical, but blimey it's impressive! I used to listen to music in bed, but found resting my head with headphones in very uncomfortable. This pillow is incredibly comfortable, I don't get earache anymore and you also get the added comfort of still being able to hear what's going on around you - We wouldn't want Justin Bieber to drown out a fire alarm, for instance. Top buy, and for a very handy price! Recommended for anyone that likes to listen to music, radio or even audio books in bed.

I used to have trouble getting to sleep every night, but with the "sound asleep" pillow I get to sleep instantly! Its so comfortable as well as helpful! Great purchase!

AMAZING

Hi, This pillow its a really good unique gift to give someone. Its very different and definately an eye opener. I agree its not very quiet and it can be rather loud, however if this bothers you just turn the volume down. :) I would definitely buy this if you are looking for something different and surprising to give anyone.

Absolutely Brilliant!

Ive just bought one of these as I havent been able to sleep and honestly cannot find a single fault! It's very comfortable, easy to use and great value for your money! Will be buying a few more for xmas presents!

Wonderful

I asked for this as a gift and I have to say I'm not at all disappointed. The pillow itself is firm without being too firm. The speaker is positioned off to one side but that is a benefit in my opinion as it means you can turn the volume up and 'share' the music/audio. The cord that came with mine was detachable very close to the pillow and the extension is very long so you can easily put your MP3 Player/iPod/iPhone/other expensive device on a table near by where you wont stand on it in the morning.

Had to buy TWO!!!

Having just bought an ipod i wanted to use it in bed but found the ear pieces kept falling out.Hear Is the alternative.this pillow is fantastic.plug in and send yourself off to sleep..Iv put two pillowcases on it as it cant be washed.so needs protecting,,

The Pillows Are Alive...! With the sound of music.

There's something very comforting about falling asleep with the sound of Barry White growling in your ear. Ofcourse you could replace this with a recording of your dearly beloved whispering sweet nothings, or demanding you get up and clean the living room. Either way, - it's a great piece of well, pillow, to take with you on long journeys or when you're stuck in a hotel with nothing but the sound of the couple in the next room testing the bedsprings. The sound is surprisingly clear for a pillow, and it's comfortable enough for you to dose off without worrying that you'll wake up looking like you've been implanted by the Borg. Highly recommended!

I have bought this pillow for my mums 50th birthday as she has been struggling to sleep since the start of the year. Really quick delivery, i had to give it a little try before I wrapped it and it is amazing!!

We now have both pillows in our house and they are loved by their owners, Andrew (40) who loves snoozing to Talksport (what else could you do..?) and Connie (10) who loves drifting off to the latest chart hits. This is such a simple yet brilliant idea and I highly recommend them both. They are great for car journeys, holidays, sunbathing (when we get some) and of course, bedtime!!

Keeps my son and daughter from blowing out their ear drums using headphones constantly!! They are both most impressed and say they are very comfortable as well as practical.

I bought this product as a Birthday present for my brother and he absolutely loved it. You can't feel the speaker at all, and yes, if you turn your ipod to full volume others can hear it, but no one's going to want to listen to it on full volume if they're trying to sleep anyway! The delivery was amazing too, I ordered it on a Tuesday and it was there by Thursday. Brilliant.

The perfect present

My sister has kept the entire household awake for over a year, thanks to her -ahem- "expressive" tastes in music. For her birthday, i spent a surprisingly modest £29.99 on a fantastic little pillow, which is not only extremely comfortable, but it is virtually impossible to spot any electronics in it. Now, thanks to the blissful isolation of the internal speaker in the pillow, we can all get a good nights sleep, especially sis. Thanks iWOOT!

Comfy pillow but does not do as described and only allow the person sleeping on the pillow to hear the music. Your partner will be kept awake.

Musical Dreams

Bought this pillow for my other half as a birthday present, fortunate for me he has worked nights since he got it so i've been "borrowing" it. The pillow itself is very comfy and the speaker doesn't get in the way at all. I can't see the tv without my distance glasses on so i've been watching episodes on my ipod in comfort and without disturbing the kids with the volume, then relax off to sleep with music on low to keep me company. Some reviews say that no-one else will hear the speaker but unless you have it really really low someone laying next to you would hear it but not enough to disturb them. I can see another purchase coming when he goes back on days!!

Really Disappointing

Perhaps my expectations were too high, but the single speaker in this pillow is very poor quality and it is not true what it says - it can be heard in the room by others. Tne speaker is also positioned badly to one side. had this not been an extra silly gift I would have sent it back. Dont buy one.

The voices talk to me at night. Only to me. I am special. I have a special pillow. It talks to me. Not to my husband. He cannot hear the voices. He has an ordinary pillow and does not know about the Radio 7 voices. He snores.

Peace Perfect Peace!

Bought this for my dad as he likes to listen to music while he sleeps... much to my mum's annoyance. So now my mum gets peace to sleep and my dad can sleep to music - perfect solution all round! :D Very good purchase, quality of sound is also very good and music cannot be heard by other person in the bed.

Good pillow

I got this pillow on sale at a pretty good price. It is a very comfortable pillow and you cannot feel the speaker at all. However to hear the full effect of the built in speaker you have to lie on a certain part of the pillow. It also says that others around you will not be able to hear your music, and although you can hear the music without lying on the pillow it would not keep anybody awake. Over all, its a good idea and well worth the price but it needs a little bit of work.

Best Chrsitmas Present

Bought this pillow as a gift for my husband, who enjoys listening to his ipod in bed. It is a very comfortable pillow and you can't feel the speaker, but great sound.It was his best present this year. Only problem is, now i can't complain about him listening to music in bed as i bought this!!!!!!

Absolutely Fab...

I have literally just received mine. The delivery was amazing ordered in on Thursday evening and here it is. (Saturday) My brother got one for Christmas and I thought it was the coolest present ever, he went out one evening and I borrowed it and fell it love with it so had to get one for myself. Definitely recommend it, get the soft one though. Money well spent.

Amazing

I bought this product for my husband who loves falling asleep to music. He loves it! I tried it myself & was amazed at how soft the pillow was (I assumed I'd be able to feel the speaker but really can't) and how clear the sound was, without disturbing anyone else. This is a great product & would be great for long journeys & even for children who could listen to music or recorded stories without subjecting everyone else to it!

Best sleep ever

If you suffer from lack of sleep due to the silence in your house or the lack of music in your ear as many people in the world do. Then this is the product for you. When purchasing this I was a little uneasy and doubtful that it would act and work as the description said it would. However when I received it, within two days of placing my order, I found that it was the most helpful thing that I had purchased within the year. It allows me to listen to any style of music to send me to sleep without the pushing in my ear from my headphones or the moaning of the music from my parents because of my speakers. You just plug in your ipod/mp3/phone/cd player to the pillow and adjust the volume on your device. From that you just relax your head on your pillow and just fall asleep while listening to your favourite music. The good thing about this pillow is if you and your partner both like to listen to music when you fall asleep you can turn up the music so that you both can hear it. It is your decision on the volume and you just use trial and error to find the best volume for your music so that either just you or the both of you can listen to the music. I recommend this product because of the flexibility in the way the product can be used and the comfort that it brings in its softness. It is an amazing product and I would readily buy one again.

Sound asleep pillow

I love it. The in-built speaker means i don't have to wake up with sore ears when i've been listening to music in bed and it's great when watching films when others are asleep. Quiet enough not to wake them but loud enough to hear it. Really enjoying them, and comfy too.
