The Silver Cash Stash is a great little product that allows me to carry an emergency note without it being obvious what it is. It is hard wearing and lightweight, brilliant!
Review of Silver Cash Stash
Quite a nice handy item when you need spare cash.
This Silver Cash Stash was actually bought to put dog details in, it can just be clipped to a dog collar.
Bought one for myself, now buying as gifts
The Cash Stash is a great and very durable product. I bought one for myself about a year ago and am now buying them as gifts for others. They are very easy to use and no fear that it will come undone and lose your cash.
Excellent product - you don't even know it's there. Have to remind myself when I'm out that if I want to treat myself I have money to hand!
I bought this for a 21st bithday present. The girl loved it. I ironed the £20 note flat then folded it just like the sample and it went in fine. A wee tip - just before you put the top on, pull the clip slighty upwards and the note will spiral with it. This makes the top easier to put on. An unusual present and the quality is superb.
Having seen a few of the reviews for the Cash Stash, I thought I would find it difficult to fit a note in the cylinder. However, when it arrived, I was thrilled to find that it was relatively easy to fold and roll a note correctly to fit. My cash stash now resides on my keyring and carries a £10 note; very helpful when the weather turns whilst I'm away from home. I've already recommended this item to a large group of people.
I got this as a little gimicky thing at first, but it has tuned out to be far more useful than I thought! Ideal for nights out with a bit too much round buying and those thousand little emergencies when £20 would really come in useful!
Fabulous idea. Bought as a gift for my daughter, who will always have taxi fare in an emergency.
Fab Stash Cash
I've bought three of these now. One for my husband and one now for an uncle and aunt, as they are such fab products. Very secure and safe and husband said it has come in very handy when coming back from a night out with the lads in a cab, only to find he's run out of cash! Stash Cash to the rescue!
A Great place to hide money when your'e out n about!
Both my partner, myself and my brother have one of these... they're great! It's great knowing that you have some money on you 'just incase'! We have taken it on holiday with us so we know we always have money on us if our purse/wallet gets stolen and it's great on nights out if you don't want to take your bank card with you but you don't want to carry a load of dosh in your pocket! My Little bro takes his to school incase anyone takes his dinner money out of his bag during P.E (which happens quite a lot apparently!). ... And for us girlies you never know when you may see THAT pair of shoes that you just HAVE to have ;-)
Very impressive Mr Bond
Received mine yesterday and I am very impressed! Nice and discreet on your keyring (especially the silver one) Good build quality, seems secure so I'm not in fear of loosing it at any time, even 007 would be keen to have one of these! Yes the note is a bit fiddly to sqeeze in and you have to fold it tightly, but I tend to just keep a tenner in mine instead of a twenty, so its a bit easier. Whilst these are £3.99 I have bought a couple more as they are quite good value for money....pity the black version is almost twice the price!!!
This product is great! On a night out i never worry about losing my wallet anymore. This means i can enjoy the night and still be ready for the next morning.
Excellent idea, always have cash on you at any time, especially if after a night out have no money for a taxi and a massive queue for the cash machine and is tipping down with rain! Also good if going to the shops and leave purse at home, or find you only have coppers in your purse when you go for a coffee. Isn’t too large that makes your keys bulky, a bit fiddly to put the note in, but worth it as keeps the capsule small. Have had mine for 2 months and still looks like new. Have since bought another 2 for friends as have found mine so handy.
Handy or what !!!!!!!
What a great key fob gadge ! So small and safe and cool looking store for the emergency cash stash that you normally put in your other pocket to make sure you've got cash for the cab home. Well worth the purchase !!!!!!
good little handy product. ie if goin for a run and need some money very safe to hide money
This is ok but fiddly when trying to fold the notes to make them small enough to fit inside.
Awesome little stash for your cash!!!
Bought this for brother in law who loves keyring gadgets and thought that looks like a good little thing. When it came realised it was even better! You really will not be let down for the price and it would make for an ideal little stocking filler! Full marks IWOOT!!!
cool cash stash
I am a gadget fanatic so as soon as i saw this cash stash in IWOOT I immediately thought I gotta have this one piece of kit.So when I have it `i immediately shown it to my friends at work and I ended up buying 4 more stash for them,Really is a wonderful piece. You never know when you need a cash on hand.
Fantastic and brilliant idea. having run out of money on several occasions i have found this invention very usefull and hand when in need of money.
A pint and a packet of crisps
Gone for a walk and gone further than you think? Come across a pub and in need of a drink? It's OK to have left your wallet at home cos you've got dosh in your pocket in the little silver dome. Cash Stash is tiny, neat, does what it says on the ...... er ...ad, and holds more than enough folded money for a couple of pints and a packet of crisps. Fantastic!
Great idea but a bit too small to fit the note in easity. Too much hassle so use it for my migraine tablets instead so i've always got some on me!
quite difficult to wind a £20 note around the clip and stuff it in the tiny container but what a good idea
Fab Little Idea
Great gizmo, and handy to use. I bought 9 and I placed £10 inside for gifts. Delivery was very speedy too, in fact next day!
Bought this as a unique way of gift wrapping cash for my brothers birthday. Fantastic reuseable item. Love it!
What a great concept, I love it. I have no more room in my jeans other than keys, bank card and cash that I've taken out at that point of an evening... I not only bought one for me but my girlfriend to, it will come in handy indeed, just a matter of affording to put a note in there! Hard times indeed but always good to fall back on the stash of cash... X
Handy little container for other small objects too
I had a bit of trouble getting the cap back in place when the money was inserted but I found if I put the money in the cap first then it was easily put together. This item is also good to keep other small objects at hand if needed, it is bigger than I expected. I was so impressed I have ordered 3 more.
bit small, easy to rip your money up, just a lil bigger so you can actually get your money out whilst being hammered would be great but hey can win them all, ill find a friend somewhere who will use it
CASH WELL STASHED
I BOUGHT A CASH STASH FROM IWOOT AND AM OVER THE MOON WITH IT. ITS A WELL MADE TINY STYLISH KEYRING THAT HOLDS A SINGLE £ $ OR EURO NOTE INSIDE AND MEANS I AM NEVER SKINT AND ALWAYS HAVE CASH WITH ME FOR THAT UNEXPECTED MOMENT. IVE JUST ORDERED ANOTHER ONE FOR A GIFT. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. THE CASH STASH SIMPLE BUT BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!
bought this as a novelty at first, but its so much more! saved me twice already. once on a night out and also pay day was a week away and the stash was there!!
Hubby and I are bikers, he keeps emergency petrol money in his, and I keep contact details in mine- just in case the unthinkable happens.. Everything stays dry, and is easily find-able on your key-ring..what more could you ask for?
Too sensible for IWOOT!
I have just bought another five of these as little gifts in reserve for friends and people who have given me good service. With one of these you are never without a £10 note, or in the case of a friend to whom I gave one in Ukraine a quite unpronounceable note. I carry a spare with an € note in it for trips to that bottomless pit called the European Parliament. Only had to use it once so far, for an unexpected taxi fare - he might have taken a cheque, but......!
Bought this for a friend who conveniently never has money for the taxi home after a night out. Now there is no excuse!
great product at a low price
got 2 of these on my keyring and have £20's in each 1. came in handy when the local cash machine was not working and wanted to order a take away saved a 25min walk to the next one, also when I went to the pub after work with some mates from work and dont take my wallet to work could still buy a couple of drinks without making excuse to go home
The cash stash is a fantastic idea. i bought it for myself as well as my mum and sister. I have lost count of the times i have gone in a store and i cant find my card or their machines dont work. I keep £20 in mine at all times. Just enough to get me out of trouble! FANTASTIC IDEA!
This is a great way to give a cash present and make it special. Just stuff it with an unwanted £20 note, give to those nephews, brothers etc., you never know what to get them.
Great gadget, especially in the current conditions...picture the scene - snow, ice, blizzards...you have to abandon the car (again) and make your way on foot...you finally come across a light in the distance, a warm fire glows through the window of a little cozy pub....the door is open, there is hot chocolate, beer or a lovely whiskey to warm the cockles....you forgot your wallet... but on your car keys is a nifty little gadget where you have stashed £20...blinding - your in for the night!
all i really want is money in my pocket...
bought it for me in the first place but my boyfriend spotted it and declare it would be his. It s more tricky than i thought it would be, the note have to be very neatly folded and rolled to fit in got me frustated over it but once you got that done you know you ll got cash for emergencies
Such a good idea
Remember when your Mum sewed a shiny shilling into the lining of your pants so you could always make a phone call home if you were lost? No?...then you're obviously too young! This brings that concept right up to date with a key ring containing a craftily folded tenner, a score, or even a half a ton if you can afford it...enough for a phone call, a kebab, and a luxury cab-ride home...maybe even stopping off at the 'Offi' as well. Never get stuck again with the moths flying out of your empty wallet....this is your emergency lifeboat should you fall asleep on the last train home, or just forgot to go to the cashpoint for more beer tokens. The only thing to remember, is if you use your sneaky secret cashpoint....remember to replace it as soon as possible...and of course, it goes without saying....never, never, ever tell your girlfriend what's inside !!
One snag, folding the £20 note. Bank paper is different from normal, so I folded it in three instead of four, then rolled it.
A very good idea...
... as long as you can get some money into it. There is not a lot of room to play with! However, great concept, and as someone who is always leaving the house with no emergency cash to hand, this is a welcome addition to my key ring.
if like me you have teenagers to buy for (who just want money) this is great for still giving them a pressy along with the money....of course. My nephews loved it.
This i find very useful, when your out & about. If for some reason you either lose your money or spend more than you intended, you have a save haven from this item.
the perfect gift
For the first time in their lives I actually managed to send my nephews and niece a useful and stylish present that also made me feel I was helping to keep them safe. I'd give one of these to everyone I know if I could
Bought one for my wife for Christmas for a stocking filler. Have purchased a further 3 for the rest of the family because they are so useful.
really useful for useless people that lose their purses frequently!
I hope it works!!
I bought this cash stash for my son who is at the moment in the air on his way to start his gap year travels in Bangkok. I saw him filling the small device with a 20 pound note, the length is about 1/2 the width of the note. quite a tight fit but managable, I am just waiting to see if that is enough!!!!
This is one of the best little gadgets I have seen for a long time, I ordered one for a friend of mine & was so impressed with it that I ordered another one for another friend. Ingenious
A neccessity for travellers or drunkards
This item is what my brother should have had when he was mugged in Berlin. It would have left im with at least one note to take a cab to the emergency. I will never travel without it!
