How do I register my gift?
You can register your gift online or by post. We recommend that you register online as this speeds up the time it takes for you to receive your personalised classic novel. Full instructions on how to register can be found in your registration booklet.
How long do I have to register my gift?
You need to register your gift before the expiry date on your gift registration booklet. We recommend that you register your gift as soon as possible.
Do I have to replace all of the suggested character names?
No. If you do not want to replace all characters you do not have to. Any character that you do not replace will keep their original name.
Can I alter the sex of the characters I want to replace?
You can if you wish but we do not recommend doing this. This is because only instances of the name itself are substituted, not references to 'he' or 'she'. If you were to substitute a male character with a female name, references to 'he', 'his' or 'him' would remain. This could make your Personalised Classic confusing.
How long does it take for me to receive my personalised novel?
These will be dispatched within 28 days from the date of registration. Occasionally, factors outside of Gift Republic's control, may affect delivery times.
What if I want another copy?
If you would like to buy a further copy of your book, you can order one online or by telephone.

- Click on the 'Gift Registrations' link in the red bar at the top.
- Enter your original unique activation code into the box and click 'Next'.
- Follow the on-screen instructions and delivery details, then enter your payment details.
If you do not have access to the internet, you can purchase another copy of your personalised classic by telephoning Gift Republic Customer Services on +44 (0) 8701 202324 and quoting your unique activation code.
Gift Republic can accept no responsibility for mistakes made in registering this gift, whether online or by post. The registration details you enter will be printed in your Personalised Classic book. Please write or type carefully. This is a novelty gift item and must be regarded as such.
Delivery & Returns
How long will it take to arrive?
Please remember to add postal time (2-3 working days) to obtain a complete estimate of delivery to your door.
How will I know it has been sent?
You will receive an email to confirm when your item has been sent.
You can also check the status of your order and individual items by accessing My Account details and following the prompts.
Please allow 10 working days from dispatch of your order before notifying us of any late deliveries.
It may be advisable to check with your neighbours to see if a parcel has been left with them, check any outhouses you might have where it may be left if it cannot fit through your letterbox and contact your local sorting office to see if the item has been returned to the depot as undelivered and awaiting collection.
