The Mini DV Camera is one of the smallest video cameras on the market. It's a fully functioning digital video camera, and is probably only the size of your thumb. Perfect for undercover surveillance, and just as great to muck around with when you're out and about, it's discreet, lightweight, wireless and really easy to use.
It records both audio and video in AVI files and saves them to a micro SD card, giving you a maximum capacity of 8GB. Considering its size, the frame rate of 30fps and resolution of 720 x 480 pixels is pretty impressive, it even takes photos as well as videos and performs well under low light conditions. Charge it up via USB to give a recording time of two hours (or a standby time of 250 hours), more than enough for you to record whatever you need.

Short on info
The Mini DV Camera arrived quickly and is a great looking product, but the instructions are a bit short and it only works if you insert a micro card.

Mini DV Camera
I have to say that despite what I had read I was somewhat sceptical about this Mini DV Camera, but what a little beauty it proved to be. The quality for something so small is truly outstanding. I have only done a few minutes of filming around the house and played it back on the computer, but it is something I would highly recommend. Even the price is good considering also the attachments and leads that come with it too. Both the picture and sound quality has to be seen and heard to understand the quality for such little money.
Amazing little video camera
This Mini DV Camera is very discreet if you are making a video diary like mine and hate people continually moaning that the, "damn camera is out again". It clips onto a book, clipboard or belt. You can mount it on a wall or stand it on a table. It can be set to be triggered by movement, although I have never needed that function. The quality of the video playback is amazing given the size of the camera and the sound quality is great. No software to add, it is just straight plug and play! A good toy and good value for money.
Does not work
I bought the Mini DV Camera as a gift and it is too disappointing. It won't connect to the PC, the weird Chinese handbook tells us to reboot the camera, but there is no reset button to be found. So, in short, we have had NO fun with it whatsoever and now have to face sending it back somehow. After the great reviews this was an even greater disappointment.
The instructions are so vague that you don't even know if you got the thing to work in the first place or not. Basically, it's not worth buying.
Brilliant
Bought this Mini DV Camera, it's brilliant. It does everything it says and more, it is so easy to point and shoot a video or take a picture. To view the pictures and video is really easy, just plug in and play from the file on the computer screen. Worth every penny.
I bought this Mini DV Camera for my 9 year old son and he absolutely loves it. He had hours of fun strapping it to his bike when he's on skate park and bike rides, then watching it on the laptop.

At first I didn't know whether to buy this or not, but after looking a some of the reviews on this amazing gadget I decided to buy it, and I'm sure glad I did it's amazing and does every thing it says it will. versatile kit!
Absolutely fantstic bit of kit for outdoor sports. Easy to attach to anything. On days out let the kids film stuff and also as a spare laptop cam and if the mood takes you good for pranks too...every home should have one :)

wow this camera is brilliant even though i have a mac you can still use it by taking the SD card out and putting it into the reader i love sports camera's and this one is very good for extreme sports like snowboarding definitely buy this one also buy the extreme sports pack with it
