The Locklite Mini Key Torch tends to fall apart in your pocket. It's not very resilient, so don't drop it! This is a good idea but not well executed.

good little item

I bought the Locklite Mini Key Torch because there are no lights outside my front door. It is a very good light and well recommended.

Simple idea, well designed.

Does exactly what it needs to. No more fumbling in the dark to put the key in the hole. This is convenient, works with the same hand you have the key in, and great when the automatic porch light doesn't figure out you're approaching.

No more scratched door!

People in my house seem to scratch the door frame as though there is a man with a knife about to get them and they need to find the key-hole using long swiping actions, etching their fear into the door. The light adds a slight bulk to the key but means that the correct key can be found easily and that ever elusive key-hole. Mr Wooden Door: "Thank you!" I would give it 5 stars but my door key is brass and this item is metallic - clash!

The Locklite Mini Key Torch is very useful especially in the winter for keyhole and outside steps.

How cool

We have a recessed lock barrel and it can be difficult to locate the slot when I come home from night shift. This unit has been a revelation. It has made the Key quite thick and it would spoil the cut of skin tight jeans. It looks a little flimsy but fits well and works a dream. It's just the best gift for anyone. I gave one to my wife who thinks its just the best. It's powerful enough to light the ground in front of you on an unlit path. The other slight issue is I don't think you can change the batteries which is a shame.

Life is so much simpler now when I arrive home in the dark, and try to find where to fit the key. The Locklite Mini Key Torch is exactly what I needed. A little torch and a key means using two hands which you don't always have because they are full of shopping. However, this little gem becomes part of the key and with a little squeeze shines a light exactly where it is needed. Everyone with the key to the door needs one. The Locklite Mini Key Torch does exactly what it says on the tin. The metal casing could maybe do with being a little thicker to prevent damage, but no problems so far.

This Locklite Mini Key Torch is a great idea and I use it regularly. The 'torch' part goes over the head of the key and snaps in place. It's a good fit for the key I have but it might be a bit bulky. I'm not sure how this can be made any smaller. Nevertheless, I'm using it and find it quite useful at night.

Dont bother

I bought four of these Locklite Mini Key Torches. I have lost two keys because it unscrewed itself from the keyring, and the other two have stopped working altogether.

This Locklite Mini Key Torch is actually my second purchase of one of these! I got the first one as a present for my dad whose right eye is not the best and often had trouble getting his key in the door. He loved it an constant use over a few years unfortunately wore it out so he asked me to order him him him another. Highly recommended.

Good, useful key light

A bit fiddly to set up at first but once door key in place the light has been very handy coming home after work on these dark nights. The Locklite Mini Key Torch is also handy for finding which key you need in the dark!

This Locklite Mini Key Torch is fairly easy to fit and gives a good beam of light. It's a great aid for finding a lock in the dark. It does exactly what I needed it to do.

Excellent idea!

This is a great little gadget to have. Fits well onto a Yale key and emits a really bright beam to help find the keyhole! Especially good if trying to creep in late and not make the usual noises when trying to find the keyhole!

Our entire family uses these. They are great when coming home in the dark and are particularly good for children coming home after school, and great stocking gifts for men! Well worth the money and an added bit of security.

Brilliant

This little Locklite Mini Key Torch is great! I've had other keyring lights in the past but you have to hold them around the keyhole while you put the key in. This is attached to your key so it shines in the direction of where the key needs to go. This is a fabulous gift!

I have been buying these regularly for the last four years. They're brilliant. Nearly everyone I know has been afforded one of them as extra Christmas treats. I have a friend with an old B&B in a village with no street lights. The guests can now get back from the local pub and into the house no problem. A little fiddly to assemble admittedly but you must follow the instructions. I've only had two in four years.

Light, bright, life-saver

I bought this as a Xmas stocking-filler for my husband nearly 3 years ago and it's still going strong on the first battery. We live in the sticks, no street lighting, and this marvellous little gadget has helped us find the keyhole and get back into the house after a late evening many times. It also doubles as an emergency torch should you find yourself walking home in the dark. It is bright enough to light up the ground in front of you. The great thing is that it's on your house key, so you will have it with you at all times. Probably the best present that I've bought him in years!

Handy Wee Torch

Got myself one of these due to having the darkest doorway in the world; great invention. It's a little fiddly (ie I bent the screwdriver) to disassemble but dashed handy to have, shines a very bright light. It's now much quicker to get indoors!

Excellent Light

Very useful for finding front door lock after coming home the wrong side of midnight. Quite powerful and fits securely on the key. I've even started using it around the house in place of other small torches.

Best stocking filler

Bought this for my teenage son who loves it. Great for coming home at night and not having to listen to him fumbling around trying to find the keyhole - we even have an outdoor light but is blocked by shadow. Light is nice and bright as shown when he tries to blind us all with it. Seriously though, job well done.

OOPS

This Locklit Mini Key Torch is a highly useful present that my wife bought me. Now I don't have to fumble around in the dark trying to find the lock. The only downside is that she's managed to spoil the surprise a bit by using my email address!

Best light I ever owned.

This was one of my best purchases from this site. I bought one a year ago for my girlfriend as a gadget she might like and I ended up using it myself. I have since bought her one and will definitely buy one for my parents who have difficulty trying to open the door of the house as they can't find the keyhole.

Great product, ever better service

The product is great - very bright! My only quibble is that I found it very difficult to clip it together. The small clip which holds the torch and the keyring together is tiny, and you need about three hands to push it into place using a screwdriver. I also had it come unclipped when I was unlocking a door, and had to go through the whole rigmarole again. Nevertheless it's a great and unobtrusive means of always having a torch at your disposal.
