It's OK, may fly better of the mains

I bought the Flying Alarm Clock for a friend who never gets up in the morning. I received it within a few days, and I gave it a quick test. It's not quite as good as I was expecting - running it off the supplied batteries means that the flying disc flies around 3cm/1 inch off the base before falling to the ground. It can be run off the mains using a six-volt power supply which wasn't included so I haven't tested it off that, but my guess is that may fly better off that. I'm happy to keep it for now, to see if my friend is happy with it. Just don't expect it to fly very high or far!

The Flying Alarm Clock was a birthday present for my brother. The flying mechanism works well and the siren like alarm noise does the job of getting him out of bed.

I originally bought this Flying Alarm Clock for my older brother. When he set the alarm and it goes off it is very loud and gets him out of bed. It's definitely a good present for your lazy brothers or partners.

Will wake you up.

This Flying Alarm Clock is abhorrently loud. When coupled with the task of catching the damn thing it's almost guaranteed to ensure you stay awake.

I bought this Flying Alarm Clock as a (not very) Secret Santa present for my flatmate because she kept complaining about being late for lectures. She was kept guessing by myself and the others but she loved it when she opened it. I'm not sure the feeling's lasted but her attendance rate has definitely improved this term. The alarm is really loud and I was slightly concerned that it would wake me up in the morning too but thankfully that's not been a problem. As for using it, she's had to put it on her desk at the other end of her bedroom so she's forced to get up to switch it off. The flying top generally flies straight up, hits the ceiling and falls back down again quite close to the alarm. Overall, really good present, that has provided much amusement for the entire flat as well as ensuring the recipient gets out of bed on time.

This Flying Alarm Clock is a great gift. I bought this for my 9 year old grandson who has great difficulty in getting up especially for school. The extremely loud siren type noise is impossible to ignore (could do with one myself). He'll have to get up to stop it, as the propellor travels quite a way. Excellent product.

I bought this Flying Alarm Clock for my partner for Christmas and we had a laugh with it. I would say it works but I don't think it will last long with the beating it is getting.

Bought this Flying Alarm Clock as a fun Christmas present for our teenage son, so he now has to get out of bed to turn it off. Seems like it's working well so far.

Take-off for morning tea

Love this Flying Alarm Clock. You never know where it's going to land. We play a game where whoever is the first to catch it has a chance of a lie in, whilst the loser makes tea. Mornings have never been such fun.

Works very well!

I bought this alarm clock for my brother, who is awful at getting up when his alarm goes off because he 'doesn't hear it'. The flying alarm clock has worked everytime so far so I think it's a great buy - I never have to get up to wake my brother up again because this alarm clock does its job properly!

With the siren on this Flying Alarm Clock and the fact you have to chase the copter around to turn it off, it's perfect for the lazy non-morning person!

I bought this Flying Alarm Clock for my sister who sleeps through every alarm and presses the snooze buttons every 5 minutes so the whole house gets woken up! Alas that is no more, this loud alarm seems to get her out of her slumber but then before she can try to sleep through it, the top flies away and she's running like a lunatic around the room to find the piece to put it back on. After this mini marathon session she is awake!

This Flying Alarm Clock is wonderful fun and certainly gets you up in the morning. Whether or not it puts you in a good mood in the mornings is another matter.

Revenge on the teenagers !

Simply perfect! It is completely annoying and actually requires the teenager to get out of bed, find the "helico" part amidst the chaos of the bedroom and place it back on the clock base for the siren to stop! It was bought as a gift for our neighbours teenage son and they are very pleased with it!

Good - when it works!

This was our second purchase of this Flying Alarm Clock, to replace one which was broken through no fault of its own. The best things about it are that it has an amazingly irritating (and therefore impossible to ignore) alarm, and the fact that you have to get out of bed to shut it off, as the rotor has flown off.

Great Gift for a Teenager

I've given 2 of these to two very different teenage lads recently, as birthday gifts. Both lads thought they were brilliant. Great way to get them up in the morning too!

My grandson is a student who can't get up in the morning, this Flying Alarm Clock seems to have solved everything. As long as it doesn't get smashed by a flying shoe after it!

Rude awakening

The reason I bought the flying alarm clock in the first place is that I find it next to impossible to wake up in the mornings. I no longer have this problem as I have to get out of bed just to turn my alarm clock off - job done. Although in the mornings I really dislike my alarm clock, that's only natural. It's a necessary evil. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who has a similar difficulty to myself. It even comes apart for easy transport without having to worry about damage. A brilliant idea and one that I wish I'd come up with myself!

time saver

This Flying Alarm Clock was a great idea to enable my fledgling student son to get out of bed in time to reach a lecture. It worked so well that he now uses his phone to get him out of bed because the disc was too loud for his neighbours and too hard to find in the dark, result!
