Look good but hurt!
Ok so these are a genius idea, can make you own CD covers in Jewel cases with pics of your friends or just pick out the albums with the best artwork. They look amazing on hte wall, the only issue is they fall down after 24 hours, and if you're like me and have put them in your bedroom they fall on your head at 4.30 AM, because the sticky has been used once it lost it's stick and they wont go back up. Luckily I didn't display the whole box so had enough velcro pads left to stick them back up but 12 hours later they were off. Not to mention the issue of the fact that they have now fallen down and I have holes in the paint on the wall. Disappointment!
I bought these for my boyfriend. I usually absoltely HATE buying for men, it is so difficult and such a chore. Then I came across these, and I didnt even have to debate them! I was a bit aprehensive that they would look plastic-ey or cheap, but they look ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! So easy to put up, move around, and display in funky ways! CDs are also easy to change or even open if you decide to listen to that particular CD. Also, seen as CDs appear to be slowly getting replaced by online downloads they look GREAT with all those older younger-years CDs in them!
people who made this product are pretty smart to be honest. they kind of knew that the sticky thing on the back that's supposed to hold up the CDs just WONT WORK. so they put in some holes in the back of the tiles so u can nail them up onto the wall. thats the only reason why this was good for me. i was considering a refund actually. but yep, its all good, theyre on my wall now, and ive just ordered a second box so i can virtually cover my whole wall with CDs. it is is worth it, but only if you have some spare nails and a hammer going.
Great Wall Art for Music Lovers
Once on the wall, these tiles look great. It is easy enough to move the CD's in and out to either play the CD or insert new ones. I bought some of these last year for my music loving daughter and have just purchased some more for her as she loves they way the CD's look on her wall (the tiles being hardly noticable between the CD's) and a music lovers collection is ever expanding!
