Lightbulb moment?
Lighting features can't ever be quirky enough and this one is no exception. 5 bulbs held on top of 5 bendy arms looks like Medusa's snake infested hair but it is strangely appealing. This light display has an ethereal vibe, one that may have previously occupied madcap film Dr Caligari's office - embracing both the gothic and sculptural.
The Bulb Tree by Thumbs Up, works through the power of sound, so when on, the lights react to noises in the vicinity. Eerie. Here's your chance to test your powers and spook people into how the lights work seemingly of their own accord.
The louder the sounds, the stronger the multi-coloured lights glow; the more continuous the noise, the faster the lights flash. Control the lights with your voice - ever wanted to clap your hands to turn the lights off? Now you can, get tucked up in bed and when ready for 'lights out' clap to say goodnight to the world.

Size:
- Dimensions: 8.8 x 8.8 x 26.5cm

Bulb Tree
I like this weird little thing! I'm yet to stick the Bulb Tree in a dark room with loud music playing to see it reacting to the noise but I don't think I'll be disappointed when I do as it reacts to clapping (yes, I felt stupid doing that). A cute and quirky gift!

Bulb tree
Lovely ornament. Because it is battery powered there are no messy wires, so it can be displayed anywhere. Colours are unique and pretty and doesn't need much noise to activate them. Bought as a present, will be ordering one for myself. Don't be fooled by cheaper versions, they aren't a patch on this one.
