The AppRacer is an 'off road buggy' style car that works together with the unique ergonomic peripheral (as used with the AppCopter) and turns your iPhone or iPod Touch into the most intuitive remote control device ever! Simply plug the peripheral into the iPod Touch or iPhone and use the DPAD (traditional remote control) or the built-in accelerometer to control the buggy's movements.
Download your free app and use the accelerometer in your device to drive the racer using the left/right tilt function for the coolest driving experience around. The peripheral unit is charged using a USB charger so no batteries are required and has strong suckers to attach to your controlling device.

Great little toy
The AppToyz - AppRacer car is smaller than I expected and the 'body' of the car is a very thin flimsy plastic but underneath the car itself is a robust little thing. The range isn't brilliant but it moves quite fast. The control isn't as 'controlled' as it could be and it takes a little while to respond. The fun part is that it can be controlled from your iPhone, although we couldn't get it to work on the iPhone 4s, it did however work on the iPhone 4 and on the iPad. Not a bad buy but I think I expected a little more.
