Your lesson will last 15 minutes and during the flight you will be given the opportunity to take the controls if you wish. This nostalgic flying experience is the only way to really appreciate the freedom of the skies offered by this wonderful classic aircraft, the Tiger Moth.After a briefing on the principles of aviation it's time to don your goggles and flying jacket for a 15 minute flight of a lifetime. All flights are taken by expert pilots who are experienced instructors and all aircraft have dual controls. You will be allowed to fly the plane secure in the knowledge that you have expert assistance.
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. This experience is available on selected dates week-round - please contact your chosen location for availability. At West Sussex this experience is available March - October (inclusive) and minimum age is 16. At all other locations there is no minimum age requirement but you must be at least 4'11" tall. The maximum weight is 16 stone. You should be agile as embarking and disembarking is difficult and requires flexibility. Please be advised this experience may not be suitable for persons who are pregnant, suffer from epilepsy, fits, severe head injuries, recurrent fainting, giddiness or blackouts, high blood pressure, or heart disease. Please note that the plane you fly may differ in livery from the ones shown here. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Please note, flight time may be chock to chock. Due to the age of these aircraft, locations may be subject to change during the year.
