Perfect for chocoholics, the Mychocolate Workshop with Green and Black's for Two will be a sweet treat from start to finish. The workshop will be a true master class in chocolate where you'll learn about the chocolate making process before making your own! - R.K.
The workshop will be led by a chocolatier, in a theoretical and practical fun course that uses the finest Green and Black's chocolate. You and a lucky guest will take part in a number of chocolate related activities:
Introduction to chocolate making
The Chocolatier will explain the history and process of chocolate making, whilst you sample either cocoa nibs or crushed cocoa beans and exotic flavoured chocolates.
Working in pairs, you’ll learn how to make delicious truffles from raw ingredients, and attempting to pipe your chocolate mixture into truffles.
Create your very own chocolate bar or giant chocolate button!
The ultimate treat for chocolate fans – create your very own personalised Green and Black's chocolate bar or giant chocolate button! You'll be given a great selection of ingredients: marshmallow, coconut, cocoa powder and white chocolate flakes and decorate your treats with edible stars and hearts. Whatever your taste, you'll be able to create your fantasy chocolate complete with personalised wrapper.
Cutting, dipping and decorating
You'll learn the art of cutting, dipping and decorating using a slab of praline, bowls of melted chocolate and plenty of decorations. The perfect ingredients for a sumptuous chocolate treat.
Create 'the most innovative chocolate in the world'
A fun, creative challenge, you will team up with your chocolate making partner in an attempt to make 'the most innovative chocolate in the world'. A great way to end your experience, you'll even get to take your creations home with you in ribbon-tied bags, along with the recipes, so there is plenty to share with family and friends when you get home!
Time at Venue: 2-3 hours
Your voucher is valid for 10 months for two people. Workshops take place on selected weekends and weekday evenings throughout the year. Workshops take place in London, Brighton and Manchester. You will be in a group of up to 22 guests (average group size 16). This workshop lasts approximately 2 ½ hours. Minimum age 14 years. Please wear suitable clothing for making chocolate. All dates are subject to availability.
