Cake pops are the new baking craze sweeping the country. A must have at any party, they are bite-sized pieces of cake coated in chocolate or icing which you then pop onto a lolly stick.
The Cake Pop Maker Kit contains everything you need to make yummy little balls of heaven. You can even inject the centre with your favourite jam, butter cream or chocolate to add extra flavour. They are easy to make and a fun activity to do with the kids.
Great for making BBQs, birthdays and wedding favours that little "bite" more special. Why not go the extra mile and decorate them in tissue paper and give them to friends and family as a sweet treat they can sink their teeth into. (Jemma Stockton)

I decided to give the Cake Pop Maker Kit a test run ahead of my friend's baby shower. The kit you receive is brilliant, the machine gets quite hot so mittens are advised. The injector, decorating nozzles, wooden stand and some sticks all come in a lovely retro display tin. One thing we found was that the recipes included in the instruction manual were quite poor, inaccurate with time and the cakes didn't rise in the machine as they should. What doesn't help is that the measurements are in 'cups' rather then grams which can be tricky to measure accurately. Instead, we used my own cake recipes which worked fantastically well.
