You've got to love 'em. Anyone who invents a great game that you can play with a glass of wine in your hand has to be applauded. This hefty set of Garden Boules comes complete with 8 chunky balls, a jack, a measuring cod (and boy do you need it when it comes to inter-family competitive play), and a tough carrying case.
It looks very much as though we said a measuring cod back there. This was of course a typing error, the likelihood of the set including a fish is minimal. Fish are very hard to hold in a dignified manner, and as measurers they are lacking in a few key features, which is no doubt why fish rulers never really caught on much outside of Omsk.
Fish-free Garden Boules, the perfect way to while away the summer, just add wine.

What a nifty bit of kit this is! The boules look great and well professional, doesn't take long before everyone is shouting and getting very competitive. After having played with a set of plastic, water filled boules in France in the '70s, I have always wanted a metal set. Buy the set, learn to have fun and carry your boules with pride wherever you go - you never know who you will bump into who also wants to get involved. Great way to make new friends and have fun.

I was lucky enough to receive a set of these for christmas. My kids and I have played with them most Sundays. Great for grass - but especially great for the beach. I can highly recommend them.
