As we all know, owls are wise old birds, despite their questionable lavatorial habits. This charming USB powered Owl is the perfect desk-top pet - especially as he won't fowl (groan) up your desk. He turns his head and blinks his doey eyes in a random fashion, and can sit either on his little cartoon tree stump, or atop your screen in an eminently owl-like fashion. As Wordsworth once said (though possibly not);
Owls are wise, owls are cute,
They twit twoo, puke poo and hoot.
They spin their heads and roll their eyes
And did I mention that they're wise?
They sit in trees and prey on mice,
Which isn't always very nice,
But that's just life, so we'll just have to deal with it and move on.
Wordsworth's 'Owl' poem may never have caught on, but we're pretty sure that 'Ollie' as we've nicknamed ours, will be a big hit in the desk-top pet stakes - he's irresistible, and a real hoot.
