Well it had to happen. Glowrings were all fab and groovy, but they've been one-upped (not something you want to happen to you on a dark night) by the arrival of the Nite Glowring, the latest, and poshest, version of the Glowring on the market.
Just like the original it's fuelled by tritium which has a remarkable glow-life of up to ten years - and you don't even need to 'charge' it with light - it just glows all the time. Fit one of these on your keyring and you'll never lose your keys in the dark again. The Nite Glowring Safety Marker (to give it its full and rather posh name), is encased in a tinted acrylic tube, making it appear even brighter than the originals, and it's considerably tougher. The list of uses for these fantastic ever-glow keyrings is endless, from attaching them to practical things like keys and pet collars, diving equipment (they're waterproof up to a depth of 30 metres), camping equipment (great for finding the zip in the dark), fishing kit, sticking them to light switches - we could go on and on (and often do), to fun things like wearing them clubbing or as body jewellery.
Whatever you use them for, they'll glow faithfully for up to ten years and brighten up whatever you attach them to.

Tech Details:
Each Safety Marker contains a small hollow glass tube, which has
been internally coated with a phosphorous material, injected with
a special gas and then sealed by a laser. The gas inside the tube
excites the phosphorus, which creates a cold light that will glow
for ten years without any external power source

I came out to Kenya on holiday last May - they have a lot of power cuts here and everybody tried to pinch my glow rings. So I ordered 12 more - I live in Kenya now and still don't have any as they've all be snaffled and attached to people's torches, generators, light pulls, keys...! So here I am ordering loads more - I just can't get enough!

These things are great, & I have just bought 6 of them. When I go clubbing, I clip the whole lot onto my trouser legs, and it looks like I've got glow worms stuck to me (I'll get a picture of me next time I'm out, so watch this space!)

These are fantastic! I have the blue coloured one; I've had it for coming up 3 years and it's still glowing bright. Since I have a handbag, it's impossible to find my keys, now I can still find them, and if I'm drunk and can't find my keys I can always see the blue light for my keys, also when I'm driving my motorbike, it glows!

These are really good products. I use them on manoeuvers with the T.A. - brilliant when yer looking for yer stuff at night. The best one is the Blue for stronger light but for me it's gotta be green.

The glowrings are just superb.
I use them for scouts and now the whole troop want several. Next lottery award and well buy a bucket load of them. Attach them to cubs, kit, tents, mallets, corner pegs, torches!, you name it and we'll be glowing it !

I've had my Nite Glowring attached to my keys coming onto 7 years now and it?s still as bright as the day I got it. May keys have been dropped, banged and dropped in water, yet it still continues to glow effortlessly allowing me to find my keys in the dark! Even now people who haven't seen it still comment and ask what it is. Over all it's a cool and useful lighty gadget.

So the good old Nite people have finally updated those fab little Glowrings to make them a little bit brighter! I am glad about this fact, as to be honest guys, the two that I bought from you there at IWOOT were not as brightly shining as their illustrations suggested! That fact aside, they were very useful life savers in their own right! I actually ended up using them as improvised survival fishing lures, to attract fish while out night fishing on the Rio Maranon in Peru's Amazon region. But, for the welcome string of Red Bellied Piranha that these helpful little Glow ring things helped us to catch, we might have very well all starved out there! All we had in the end was fishing kit and rice, once the river took away our canned foods, survival rations, raft and all! I will never let myself get into such a foolhardy situation again!

All you ladies out there, do you have trouble finding your keys in your handbags? I bought a 'glowring' and have no trouble finding mine anymore. I just hang them in the light on entering the house, thus charging it, then I can find them easily when I arrive back home. Saves al that rummaging around. Ab Fab. What would I do without IWOOT to assist my daily life, yes I really do NEED one of these.
