Is your 'Ding Dong' driving you demented, your 'Buzzer' making you barmy, your doorbell sending you? yeah ok, you get what we're on about. Doorbell manufacturers seem to have the imagination of a dead kipper when it comes to what the thing should actually sound like. Well now with the USB Doorbell you can make it sound exactly as you wish. So the next time someone rings your doorbell it can play a favourite song, sound effect, go burp, beep, bing, pop, growl, or make any sound up to 30 seconds long. First you connect it up to your computer via USB, and then load up any sound (up to 30secs long) as a WAV or MP3 that you want to replace your irritating 'Ding Dong'. You then need to disconnect it and wire it up to your existing doorbell. It comes with three volume settings, a loop for hanging by the door and requires three AA batteries. Free yourself from ordinary door chimes and release your creativity on some truly whacky door tunes.
It's only compatible with PCs at the moment, and is designed to be used with pre-wired Low Voltage doorbell systems (it's not a wireless device). It needs a little DIY jiggery pokery, but nothing too stressful and boy is it worth it!
