This sleek and cool gadget is fun and easy 2 use. I spent ages playing Quake!! (the game u get with it) but not a lot because my sister stole it from me LOL! I love the fact you can add music and photos to show off in front of my mates. No.1 gift 2 buy ur family and friends!!! Wld definitely recommend.

Got one of these for Christmas and haven't stopped playing with it since.
There are a couple of issues with the unit, but these are easily overlooked when you're playing some Mega Drive games or watching a film on the move.
The forums at www.gp32x.com/board/index.php are great, friendly and open.
Not only is the unit open source software wise but thanks to a very active community the hardware is open to being played with!
So, you can play MP3s, watch videos, play emulators of all your favorite consoles and old machines, view your digital snaps, read txt files and if you really want to, get a soldering iron out and make something useful for your unit!
What more is there to say?!

Much cheaper than a PSP and games are available free online through emulators. It's also open source linux so you can try your hand at programming too. Easy to use interface and decent design. Cable to enable playing on big screen tv works well too.
Absolutely fantastic and amazing. Take it everywhere and can't stop playing all the old classic games as well as the new ones.

This console is sleek, cool and overall damn right awesome - the videos are of a decent quality, same as the music and photos and the games have decent graphics for its size. So overall this gadget is recommended by me even tho I never heard of it before I looked at this site.

Had one of these since late 2005, the Mark 1 - and now have a Mark 2 as well! Many small, but noticeable improvements with the second edition, and the firmware upgrades increase most games' frame rates and the battery life. Love the open source community - always helpful, and willing to give newbies a chance! Oh, and there are SO many emulators, homebrew applications and even a good number of professional games coming through! Well worth the money!

The GP2X is one of the greatest gadgets I own, a great companion for my PC and my pocket, this console helped me quit smoking by giving me another way to relax on my lunch at work. It handles well, is easy to use and has a rich development scene with a good selection of new games and a great selection of retro games. I also love the ability to output to TV so I can play on a large screen or sit back and watch my favorite DIVX. An SD card is a must and I say get a big one cause theres tons of great stuff to save to it including mp3's and your pictures!
