We've been waiting for someone to come up with this gizmo for a while. Apart from the obvious fact that playing at night with this would be hysterical, it's also brilliant for ball location, if you don't always plop your ball smack in the middle of the fairway (which of course we're sure you do... yeah, right).
The size and weight of a regular golf ball, the Flashing Golf Ball has a tough Surlyn cover and a super-bright internal LED that flashes for five minutes after contact. It has a battery life of 80 hours, which will keep you flashing (as it were) for about 1000 strokes!
A mildly stupid and yet hugely practical little gizmo that's great fun. We spend far too much time just bouncing it on the floor to watch it flash, which is not really the point, but then we're not that bright. Unlike the ball.
