Without wanting to get too technical, there are two variants of Lithium rechargeable cells. Lithium Ion is a liquid battery that is larger and subject to safety concerns on leakage. We opt for Lithium Polymer batteries, a dry cell. By using Lithium Polymer batteries we are able to provide not only a more reliable and safe charging solution, but also a portable solution that is considerably smaller than Lithium Ion options.
