Description

You never can tell when the sun's going to decide to pop its face out from behind the clouds so make sure you're always prepared with the Tailgater. It's the portable speaker and amp with a dock designed for your iPod and, despite its size (it's 40% smaller than the iPod Party Speaker), it packs a mighty 22W punch. The in-built battery is good for eight hours once fully charged, so you can forget about lugging that 2km extension cable all the way to the park (frankly, we're staggered you managed to find one that long in the first place) and enjoy some pumping tunage well into the evening.

The Tailgater isn't just for iPods - anything with a headphone socket can be hooked up to the speaker so if you're not an iPod fan you won't feel left out. What's even more impressive is that you can use the unit as an amp for your guitar, keyboard or microphone - so if you fancy a bit of a busk (and who doesn't from time to time?) you can serenade your friends with your take on Led Zep. You may want to consider investing in some guitar lessons beforehand though or you might have to fish the Tailgater out of the nearest pond.

The casing is remarkably heavy duty, so the speaker can take some mild abuse without falling to pieces and there's even a convenient carry handle making it even easier for you to lug it around from party to party. It's the ultimate summer sound system for the party animal.

Fantastic

The Party Speaker is absolutely brilliant and does everything it says. Purchased for my son's 9th birthday so he could play his iPod through it and he was delighted. The speaker gives a brilliant sound, well worth the money. Definitely recommend it to anyone.

Brilliant

I bought it for an out door presentation, it worked really well and after the speeches we put some tunes on, really long battery life, lightweight not to chunky, really easy to use.

Tailgater

A very good piece of kit for the price. Unfortunately, I want to use the microphone speaker outside and the sound is too low for it to be heard over a great distance. Ideal for plugging in your Ipod and listening in good quality indoors though.
