Panasonic SC-NE1EB-K Wireless Bluetooth Speaker (40W)

Got this for my husbands Bday last year and after a year it is still a great speaker! Easy to set up and easy to use. My husband is over the moon with it. so if you are looking for a reasonably priced bluetooth speaker with great sound, this is definitely worth it.

All round great sounding speaker and easy to use, produces a lot of base!!!! A bit too much at times for my little apartment. Definitely with the money!!!!

Had read all. the customer reviews and, yes, it is on the large side and looks a bit plasticy but I am very pleased with my.purchase - I bought two. I connected my IPod via a cable and switched on. The quality was excellent but I was initially disappointed that the volume was lower than I expected even when fully turned up. I later tried the remote control, read the instructions and turned the input to 'High'.........great result.....plenty of output. Usual problem.....Just read the instructions. Great units.

This was bigger than I thought it was going to be when it turned up. I guess that makes it even better value than I thought it was going to be. The sound quality is really good. The option to decide if you want transmission quality or sound quality is great. For a lot of MP3s you may not notice the difference in sound quality. If you select the better sound quality, it can skip several times which doesn't sound great. A change in the setting would prevent this from happening. Changing that setting seems to be very difficult despite using the instructions. That however doesn't detract from how good the speaker is and how great the sound quality is and what good value it is.

Brilliant and powerful, can play effortless music via Bluetooth or wired without no difference, the choice of surround sound and the different bass and treble settings make it a breeze to set up and super fun when connected to a TV, no need to buy a fancy expensive sound bar that has poor audio, this is twice as good as any sound bar and when your not watching TV, you can listern to music via Bluetooth. Its so good it actually made my father in law jealous to the point where he wanted to get one. I have to start by saying that I was pretty annoyed to receive an email from IWOOT a few days after buying this speaker saying that it had been reduced! If IWOOT were trying to wind me up they succeeded. With that out of the way, I'll give me thoughts on the speaker. First of all, check the dimensions (as you should with most things you buy on line) as it may be larger than you think. I had been thinking of getting something to play music through ever since my old full size separates (and large speakers) were consigned to the loft and my CDs stuck on a back shelf. The reviews for the Panasonic were good and persuaded me to go for it. Within minutes of taking delivery, I knew I'd made the right choice as I opened the well protected packaging. Quick scan of the very straightforward instructions, plugged it in and switched it on. I use my old Sony Ericsson W995 phone as a Walkman (it's excellent), so I switched on Bluetooth, waited a few seconds for the 2 devices to make friends, entered the pass code (in the manual), and pressed play. When the music started, I wasn't disappointed. The reproduction is excellent, and it's planty loaud enough for me. From the small remote, you can power on or off, mute, change volume, bass, treble, and other settings. I didn't test how far away the Bluetooth worked, but it works fine in my rooms (lounge and kitchen so far, not massive rooms but not tiny either). The only minor point is that the mains lead isn't very long - but as it's a standard 2 pin connection, a longer replacement could easily be bought. To sum up, a great unit, easy to use and now at an even better price (grr!). If you're looking at this speaker wondering whether or not it is worth buying then my answer would be a definite yes.

A warning for everyone to read the description fully before buying. I bought this for myself and in all honesty thought it was max 30cm long. Upon receiving it and discovering this was not the case I was somewhat surprised but was looking for a speaker in that size anyway so was very happy. The speaker itself: The speaker is simple to use and very simple to connect to. I haven't used the remote to switch connections yet but it looks very easy-to-use. As "plug and play" as you can get with bluetooth connections. The sound quality is brilliant, I'm no audiophile but appreciate a good and rich sound and this certainly delivers. The wall-mountings are easy and require just 2 screws (all provided) and instructions are IKEA-esque images. All in all a good purchase...even if it wasn't what I expected!

Good clarity and look slick. Annoying that you can only connect through Bluetooth from a certain distance with limited devices but can't complain. All in all, good gadget.

Brilliant sounding speaker, connects easily to bluetooth device, good tone in both treble & base giving room filling sound. Speaker was delivered next day from IWOOT - excellent service.
