With a set of lightweight Digital Luggage Scale you can weigh all of your cases to make sure they don't exceed the maximum baggage allowance - and they're small and light enough to pop in your handbag.
Jetting off around the world on less than the price of an airport sandwich is all well and good, but one pair of sandals too many can have you cursing the god of luggage while airport officials bite a hefty chunk out of your holiday pocket money by way of an extortionate excess baggage charge - and that's just on the flight out. If, like lots of inebriated tourists tend to do, you find yourself inexplicably drawn to that wicker donkey you spied in Alicante (it's going to look just fabulous next to the chaise lounge, isn't it?) you could find that your cerveza-fuelled impulse buy becomes even costlier when you check in for the flight home.
Perfect for the jet setter who doesn't want to skydive into the red.

Good product
Simple and easy to use - should scupper those last minute panics at the airport when the airline staff are trying to get you to pay over the odds for a couple of extra kilos.

Lousy packing
Scale did not get lost by miracle. Cardboard packing is not suitable as it breaks open. This is not the first time I comment the same with no improvement. Regards.

Travelling light?
A luggage scale is a MUST for anyone travelling with an airline that has tight weight restrictions (not naming any names, oh, no). This is the smallest and cheapest I've seen with a clear and accurate display. As you can find yourself paying 35 quid to check in oversized hand luggage as you board a plane/up to 20€ per kilo overweight/jettisoning half your souvenirs at the airport, it is definitely worth the very small investment. A small quibble would be the lack of a tape measure - other models have one - though if you know your bag fits, it's not really necessary. Have a good trip.

Weight for it! ;o)
With rip-off budget airlines imposing ever more challenging weight restrictions on luggage items, this handy little gadget is a must. It pays for itself the first time you avoid excess luggage fees! A definite "best buy"!

Exactly what I wanted
Excellent. Lightweight, easy to use. Clear screen. Unit button perfect. Only one tiny problem...the "hold" word when it is actually deciding on the weight is tiny so I had to either bend down or lift it higher(wouldn't be easy if weighing 30 kilos) Best just to hope you are holding it steady or have someone with you.

Great gadget even for girls!!!!
This is a super little gadget, I bought one recently for a trip overseas, as being a typical girl I had to pack everything "Just in Case". Difficult to do with a luggage allowance of 15kg... This little gadget helped me pack and stay under the allowance which meant I could bring back more duty free! this is a must have for the girlie travellers. Its robust, accurate and very easy to use. Perfect.

Obsessively weighing things
The digital luggage scale is fan blooming tastic! Ever since I got it (next day : even though I only paid 99p for standard shipping) I have been obsessively weighing things! Can't wait to take it to NYC with me.

Top Holiday Gadget
I've just purchased one of these luggage scales, having needed to swop items between my case and my husband's on returning from our last holiday abroad, to avoid excess baggage charges. Now we will be able to check the weight of our luggage accurately before we go away and when we are packing to come home. One thing to watch out for: the manufacturer enclosed batteries that were way past their expiry date and corroding away at the ends!! But the gadget itself is in perfect order so with my own new batteries, it's great and worked perfectly when I did my test run with it.

Excellent Purchase
Bought one of these for some friends who travel a lot and they were chuffed to bits. The scales are light weight fit easily in the suitcase and work a treat.

Avoid excess luggage fees
Fly often with Ryanair and have been charged for excess luggage fees many times due to using bathscales. This unit is perfect! Used for the first time in December and the weight measured was 100% identical to Ryanairs check in scales. Much impressed! Paid for itself on first journey! Good show!

Very disappointing
I bought a digital luggage scale as a present for a relative. He was delighted with it, and initially it worked well. But after using it a couple of times, it ceased to function. He replaced the batteries - but still it won't work, so embarrasingly he has returned it to me. I am upset - so could not recommend this item at all. Minus stars

Weight a convenient a product!!
Excellent little weighing machine. We use it at work to weigh the outgoing parcels, but can be used to weigh anything from holiday cases to babies*! Superb! *Assumption-based

Highly recommended
Got this before going on holiday to Tunisia a couple of weeks ago. Strict limit of 15kg per case to avoid extra charges. Packed the 2 cases - had put more in one than the other - inadvertently - but was reassuring to know both were below the limit. Coming home, had bought a few gifts, so it was good to be able to check the weights again. This time, we found we'd overpacked one of the cases, and spent a bit of time moving stuff from one case to the other to make sure everything was evenly distributed. Got to the airport, Monastir, and they weren't remotely interested! They seemed to be only looking at the total allowance for 2 people, it appeared from the couple who checked in before us! Anyway, some airlines (airports) will be more picky. Well worth the money.

Vital travel accessory!
Todays airlines seem to want to trap you into surprise additional payments whenever they can, especially when it comes to luggage size and weight. Most people have a measuring tape to check the size of their bags, but suitable scales to check the weight is a different matter... This little thing is dead easy to use, small enough to take with you (your bags might be heavier on the way home...!!!) and they'll only need to get you out of an 'excess baggage' situation once to have paid for themselves! Buy one now!
