Matthew Perry (Friends; The Whole Nine Yards) stars in an acclaimed movie based on the inspirational true story of Ron Clark, an innovative and gifted young teacher who leaves his small hometown in rural North Carolina to seek adventure and a teaching job in the bright lights and demanding schools of New York City. Teaching in one of Harlem’s toughest schools, he battles to retain his optimism as he takes on challenges and obstacles he never dreamed he would face.  Using ground-breaking classroom rules, he drives his pupils towards their greatest potential.  For one young man with a penchant for graffiti, Clark offers an ideal outlet for artistic expression, and for a girl trying to attend school while helping to raise her brothers, Clark offers the chance to become one of his top students.
