When he lost his home to the demolition men, Tommy lost all his old pals - but forged an unlikely alliance with young tearaway Charlie Harris.

In this series, Charlie gets into scrapes with a local gang, Tommy's hypochondria reaches fever pitch, the cold war between Tommy and Brian continues, and Tommy resists an attempt to put him in an old folks' home. After all, age is a state of mind... even if some minds are in a right old state!
