In the early 1900s, the tranquility of a rural Wisconsin town is abruptly shattered by the arrival of Rascal, an overactive baby raccoon. Young Sterling North (Bill Mumy) adopts the abandoned creature, and hilarious mishaps seem to happen whenever Rasal wanders onto the scene. The townsfolk try their best to accept this mischievous new "mascot, " but it become clear that Rascal is not your ordinary, everyday pet.
