Considered to be one of the greatest road movies ever made, Midnight Run is the action-packed thrill ride from two-time Oscar Nominee Martin Brest (Beverly Hills Cop, Scent of a Woman) and starring two-time Oscar Winner Robert De Niro (Goodfellas, Taxi Driver), Charles Grodin (Beethoven) and Yaphet Kotto (Alien).

Jack Walsh (De Niro) is a former cop from the Chicago police department, but now he makes his living as a bounty hunter, this means he spends his days chasing down low-lives who’ve skipped their bail and made a run for it. But Jack has a found a way out of this life. All it will take is one last job paying 100 grand, just enough for him to open his coffee shop he’s always dreamed of.

So he sets out to track down Jonathon ‘The Duke’ Mardukas (Grodin), an accountant who has just embezzled 15 million dollars of mobster Jimmy Serrano’s (Dennis Farina) money. Within a day Walsh catches The Duke and their journey back to the bail bonds begins. But things don’t turn out to be as simple as Jack thought they would be, as soon enough the FBI are hot on their trail, as well as Jimmy Serrano’s henchmen and a rogue bounty hunter out to make a quick fortune.

But Jack is determined to hand The Duke in himself, so he can collect his 100 grand and start to chase his dreams, and stop chasing criminals! (Matt Fairfield).
