Hairspray:
It's 1962 and change is in the air in Baltimore. Tracy Turnblad, a girl with big hair and big dreams, has only one passion in life - to dance on 'The Corny Collins Show'. When her chance arrives, she grooves her way into instant stardom and the eyes of teen dream Link Larkin (Zac Efron). But with the program's scheming stage manager (Michelle Pfeiffer) against her, trend-setting Tracy will need the help of her best friend Penny (Amanda Bynes), her big-hearted mother (John Travolta) and sassy co-host Motormouth Maybelle (Queen Latifah) to show the world that all it takes to make a dream come true is a toe-tappin' beat and a little Hairspray!

The Phantom of the Opera:
A voice calls from the shadows of the opera house to innocent chorus girl Christine Daae (Emmy Rossum). Only ballet mistress Madame Giry (Miranda Richardson) knows that the voice is that of the Phantom (Gerard Butler), a disfigured musical genius who haunts the catacombs of the theatre. When temperamental diva La Carlotta (Minnie Driver) storms out, the theatre managers (Simon Callow and Ciaran Hinds) thrust Christine into the spotlight. Her mermerizing performance captivates both the audience and the Phantom. But he is not the only powerful man to be awed by the young soprano, as Christine finds herself courted by the theatre's wealthy patron, the Vicompte Raoul de Chagny (Patrick Wilson). Though she is enthralled by the Phantom, Christine is drawn to the dashing Raoul, enraging the Phantom and setting the stage for a dramatic crescendo.

Evita:
The celebrated musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice is stunningly captured on film by Alan Parker (The Commitments, Angel Hart, Mississippi Burning). The story of Evita as told by Che (Antonio Banderas). Eva Peron (Madonna) was born the illegitimate daughter of a penniless farmer. Determined to make it to the top, Eva attaches herself to a popular tango singer, (Jimmy Nail) in the big city. Eva becomes a radio and film actress, moving in influential circles within Buenos Aires society. But when she becomes involved with rising politician Juan Peron (Jonathan Pryce), the establishment disapprove and he is arrested. Eva fights on for freedom, both for her husband and the oppressed masses. Peron is freed by the people, the couple marry and Peron is elected president. But Eva's greatest battle is yet to come.
