A breakthrough in advanced parasitic research on Cuttyhunk Island gave scientists a jump on human evolution. Using genetically engineered parasites, they were able to increase the physical and mental strength and awareness of their test subjects. When the scientists become unable to control the subjects and the parasites, the island tragically lost three quarters of its population, leading to a massive cover-up. Twenty years later the experiment threatens the island’s population once again and the islanders must now fight to survive against both the parasites and each other!
