The Bridge On The River Kwai
When British P.O.W.s build a vital railway bridge in enemy-occupied Burma, Allied commandos are assigned to destroy it in David Lean's epic World War II adventure The Bridge On The River Kwai. Spectacularly produced, The Bridge On The River Kwai captured the imagination of the public and won seven 1957 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actor (Alec Guinness), and Best Director. Even it's theme song, an old WWI whistling tune, the 'Colonel Bogey March', became a massive worldwide hit.
Cromwell:
Richard Harris and Sir Alec Guinness star in this sweeping, handsomely-mounted epic drama recounting the battle which raged between the monarchy and a commoner over the very soul of Great Britain. In 17th-century England, ambitious country gentleman Oliver Cromwell (Harris) dared to challenge the political oppression and corruption which besieged his nation.
H.M.S. Defiant:
Alec Guinness must battle a mutinous crew and Napoleon's fleet in the rousing, historical adventure H.M.S. Defiant. As commander of the British warship H.M.S. Defiant, the humane Crawford (Guinness) strives to maintain order throughout the ship against the ceaseless brutality of sadistic first mate Scott-Padget (Dirk Bogarde). After Crawford is injured in a fiery battle with a French treasures ship, angry seaman Vizard (Anthony Quayle) leads the crew to mutiny when Scott-Padget takes over.
Murder By Death:
The world's greatest detectives have been invited to dinner. But when murder is on the menu, who will make it to dessert? You are cordially invited to join an all-star cast featuring Peter Sellers, David Niven, Peter Falk, James Coco, Elsa Lanchester, Maggie Smith, Alec Guinness, Eileen Brennan, Nancy Walker, James Cromwell and Estelle Winwood for Neil Simon's hilarious murder-mystery spoof Murder By Death. The isolated mansion of eccentric millionaire Lionel Twain (celebrated author Truman Capote in a Golden Globe-nominated performance) is the setting for the twisted puzzler. Twain informs his guests that one of them will be murdered at the stroke of midnight. The pay-off: $1 million to whoever lives through the night.
Our Man In Havanna:
Adapted from Graham Greene's novel, Alec Guinness stars in this classic spy spoof as Jim Wormold, as English expatriate who sells vacuum cleaners in Havana.

His life is irrevocably change as he is recruited by Hawthorne (Noel Coward), and pressed into service as an operative of M.I.5, which he reluctantly agrees to so he can earn extra money for his 17-year-old-daughter.

Wormold does not actually engage in any actual espionage. Instead, he invents facts on his reports and recruits fictitious agents.
He soon discovers that his imagination is going to take on a life of its own.
Also includes 'The Prisoner'.
