Description

The Chain Wine Bottle Holder is a gravity defying eye catcher, and a great way to show off your vino. Made from welded chain links and cleverly designed so as to balance perfectly when you add your wine bottle of choice, it's like having a piece of installation art on your dining table.

Features:

  • The perfect way to show off a good bottle in a funky holder.
  • The holder is a simple chunky chain (or so it seems) into which you insert the neck of a standard bottle of wine.
  • The illusion created is that of a floating wine bottle.
  • Suitable for ages 18 years+.

Size:

  • 20 x 6cm.

does what it says...

i gave this to my dad for xmas, I didnt tell him what it was to start with and i made him guess which provided me with some entertainment for a while... eventually i gave him a wine bottle and let him put two and two together. very simple but looks stylish as a centre piece or in the kitchen. Good present.

Chain Wine Bottle Holder

I ordered 2 of these as Christmas gifts. So blinking simple, but sure to be a talking point. Can't wait to give them out! I was concerned as to what condition the items would arrive in, thinking of the Christmas postal rush. But, both racks arrived today in a parcel that was really well packaged. Well done IWOOT. I will return!

Very cool

I noticed this item a while ago, but I was apprehensive to buy it, as I wasn't sure if it would look as realistic in reality as it did in the picture. I eventually did buy it and I looks very cool. Many people have asked me where they can also get one.

Really impressed

Bought for a friend. She was delighted with the product (and her 10 year old daughter was mightily fascinated by it!). I was impressed by the speed of delivery and the ease of ordering. Result! Thanks.

A present with a difference.

Fathers are often difficult to buy for and mine is no exception. Every year I end up buying him some wine for want of anything more inventive. Despite looking rather odd in the box once I had demonstarted it with one of the bottles I had bought he was well away. The only problem is he was too taken with it. The bottles I bought to go with the gift weren't the cheapest and as the bottle holder needs a full bottle to work the "demonstration bottle" of wine is still sitting in the holder undrunk. I feel rather sad for it, always stuck with its more popular partner. I may sneak in and exchange it for a cheapy and then give it the decent end it deserves.

Floating bottle

Thought this was a really neat idea. I don't usually do ultra modern things but this is just brilliant and a definite conversation piece.

Defying Gravity

The pictures and video of the wine bottle holder certainly made it look impressive on the website, but I wasn't entirely convinced it would be as spectacular in real life. Luckily, as it was a gift for a rather selective and hard to impress man, it was! Giving the appearance that a wine bottle is floating in midair, and that a chain is the only thing anchoring it and preventing it from drifting off, is quite something, and as well as being a visually pleasing object, it is a useful, and surprisingly more stable, way to store individual bottles of wine at the table or in the kitchen than simply having free standing bottles. I'd recommend it to anybody who wanted a different and more functional ornament that is always a talking point and subject of entertainment for whoever is lucky enough to be at an evening hosted by you!

Strangely captivating

Bought this for my (very traditional) Dad for his birthday, in the knowledge that he would either love it or hate it... I try to buy him sort of modern things, sometimes he's receptive, sometimes not. Anyway, he loved, it my mum loves it and obviously I love it. It's pretty fascinating, and now has pride of place on the dresser. Nice one IWOOT! Thanks!

Brilliant

I bought this product as a present and it was very well received. It looks very good when displaying a bottle of wine, a stylish but slightly quirky design that is definitely a conversation starter. My only complaint is a slight lack in quality upon closer inspection of the product. the seam down the middle of each chain segment can be quite visible in places. For the price I expected perfect quality, but this may be me being fussy and looking too closely. Overall a brilliant product, may buy one for myself soon...

Guessing game

I bought this chain bottle holder for the man in my life (Mr S) who has everything! I took it out of the packaging and put it into a gift bag. It was great fun on Christmas day infront of the whole family when he opened it and had no idea what it was (my mother had a very naughty idea!). They spent all morning guessing what it might be! Then when we sat down for dinner I placed it proudly in the centre of the table holding a fine bottle of wine! It was the centre peice and the centre of discussions. It now sits in the kitchen and always gets attention - who'd have thought that a wine holder would have caused such amuzement and the man who has everything now has something so different. The price didn't break the bank (althought Mr S doesn't know that!) and the service and speedy delivery from IWOOT was excellent. I always turn to IWOOT when I have a birthday or event - they search around for me and I can sit with a glass of wine and relax! The best way to shop!

Talking Point

Absolutely amazing - it seems to defy both logic and gravity! It has been a real talking point amongst all our guests over the Christmas period.

Intriguing table piece and conversation starter

This is one of those rare products that is delivered and is actually everything you hoped it would be and maybe even more. It looks like it denies logic and the laws of physics to look at and people just have to touch it. Obviously you will find it is a completely solid structure (otherwise it wouldn't work) and yet you are still intrigued because you don't understand how the links were made strong enough and solid enough for this to work. Great present (and I bought one for myself). You can't go wrong with this product.

Best gift ever

My son-in-law was going to be 40, and had everything - or so he thought until I gave him the chain wine bottle holder. He was so delighted - best birthday present ever. Of course, he also liked the bottle of wine my husband gave him to go with the bottle holder. Really terrific present, best reaction, and now I'm the best mother-in-law in the world!

Funky...but reserve judgement

Looks great, unusual...BUT left a bottle in overnight, had leaked a bit by morning! Unsure if this was caused by holder or faulty bottle/screwcap! Will try new bottle! Apart from that, pleased with service and overall purchase experience!

Another great purchase

Yet another fantastically ludicrous product from IWOOT. It arrived the day after being ordered and does exactly what it says on the tin. It holds wine and impresses your guests - and looks great in the new kitchen! Makes an excellent present.
